Got staff infection had to have infection surgically removed, ruined the tattoo too... it was my second sitting, color session. Also this was my biggest at the time, 5th tattoo.

I just got a new tattoo recently,and it's been a long tattoo healing process,now it looks like a thin little layer of silky, wringly skin.if that makes since. lol. ik I'm gonna need a touch up though, loss some color in my lower arm.
My comments seemed to have disappeared. Just delete the extra ones if they show up. I had two minor tattoo infections around the ankle area on both legs. My tattoo artist told me to use antibacterial soap and Neosporin and eventually I was able to clear them up. They just needed minor retouches.
What type of aftercare products would u suggest? Also how long does it usually take to heal? And finally what do u do if u have a tattoo in an area u can't reach how do u look after it properly? Love your channel

I have a skin disease, it's atopic dermatitis, every time I get a wound, scratch or a tattoo it turns into atopic dermatitis. Beside using fragrance free soap and moisturizer I also use clobetasol cream on my tattoo if I see any atopic dermatitis to prevent infections.
It’s normal to feel nervous about things like getting infected. But as long as you do the right things when the tattoo is healing you don’t have to worry about getting infected at all. Yeah I wouldn’t. Between the sun and the sweat you will ruin your tattoo. I would recommend just waiting till it heals. It sucks I know but it will be worth it
I had a tattoo 10 days ago and I still can see some peeling from it. I going to the lake 2 days from now and I really want to know if it is save going swimming in the lake after 12 days of aftercare (my tattoo seems totally healed and with two more days I think it should be fine).
this is just my opinion and from experience you should wait at least 1 month before submerging your tattoo in water ... i will even wait 6 to 8 weeks. it may seem excessive, but I'm not taking chances.
My second tattoo actually got infected as I was pretty drunk and jumped in the lake lmao at the end it turned out alright tho but was for sure frightened!
