Thank you so much for your videos..it's the first time I heard about putting the right hand on the shaft AFTER the titl, which naturally change its position on the club. So far you are the most informative golf instructor to date that I have watched. I now have a better understanding where I fault when I'm setting up to the driver. I have a horrible slice that goes right so far that I have lost so many golf balls. So excited to get back out there and try this set up hacks to help hit from inside instead of over the top to in.

Great stuff as always from Clay! 1 additional note that has helped me to hit a powerful draw, is to imagine the golf ball as a clock face with 12 facing the target. You want to feel like your club is making contact with the golf ball at about 7 o'clock. Keeps that shallow swing plane and inside out swing. Impossible to come over the top and hit 7 o'clock.. Give it a try weekend golf warriors, hopefully it helps you out like it has me!

My main problem with my driver is I hit it too high.I dont tee it up high, it barely sits above the driver head when I set up. I have a Taylormade M3 its at 9.5 degrees one weight foward and one set at a max fade. I hit in the middle of the face 80-90% of the time. Im really consistent but im not getting any roll out becasue of how high it launches. Do you have any tips on how to lower ball flight?

Get on a launch monitor and try low launch, low spin shafts. I had the same problem

Hi Clay, Can you advise what Driver degree set up would you recommend - I'm 59 and I drive the ball approx 240 - 250 metres (273 yards) on average, with the best around 280 metres - I currently have a 10.5 set up and get good height? Hi Steve, that really depends on your swing and many other factors. There isn't any way for us to know without getting you on a launch monitor. I would recommend going to a reputable club fitter near you. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor

Clay, I have the opposite problem. I hit a high draw that carries, but want to swing more level to have a lower ball that rolls after it lands. When I level my shoulders a bit at address my swing path goes left - out to in. Hard to swing more level with a neutral swing path. Any thoughts?

Hi Walter, the strength of your grip is personal preference. Typically, it's easier to have a grip on the stronger side to square the face more easily. If you hit a lot of hooks then a neutral grip might be better. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor

when I walk down the fairway to my drive I see a pitch mark as though it was an iron and the ball comes back about a yard or two. what is cause the ball to spin back that much. I never get any roll.

Hi, it could be a lot of factors such as steep angle of descent, spin and soft ground conditions. Not much you can do about ground conditions but you can lower your spin by hitting the ball more solid and with an upward angle of attack. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor

Good advice. Everything looks good numbers wise, but your spin rate is way too high. Should be around 2000 to 2300 rpm max. I bet you would get max distance.
