Nice vid! Poeple really underestimate the value of good sound. I believe this is due to the difficulty of setting it up. i mean, you gotta have stream open on another device or something to check how the viewers experience it, this results often in you not "live streaming" because you are busy listening to the stream etc on that other device and you will never really get the full experience. Software to come around this is almost a must, if you are really about that good sound. Some Elgato products offer access to the Wave link software, i hope sometime in the future OBS gets these features build into it. The ability to swap between listening to your mix and the mix from broadcast is golden! There is a few other options aswell, Røde got one and others use voicemeter banana, but i still believe wave link is the best at the moment.
Thank you! And I completely agree. If they can get some more tools into OBS that makes it easier to test your audio and mix, I think it would be a game changer for streamers. I currently utilize an Elgato Wave XLR for that exact reason. It makes mixing audio and getting instant feedback so easy. Not to mention the ability to separate audio for mixing is extremely easy using their Wave Link software. It's so nice to have that ability even when not recording and streaming.
