AVOID THIS AWNING FAIL - I thought Everybody already knew this - how to fix it 

we found a kings awning in hard rubbish and the rivets had sheared off so i upgraded the rivets and changed the 6mm nuts and bolts to 8mm added a right angle aluminium piece under the swivel arms to reinforce them and a cross brace, now it works the way it should have from scratch

Use stainless steel rivets they are alot harder metal

Bloody pop rivets...They should be banned.
