Hi Rion.. New subscriber here.. Your content is very interesting and i find it very informative.. Keep it up! I am planning to go there 3rd week of September..
Awesome video like always, thank you for showing us how busy it's there right now. I hate crowds but I would still like to visit one day just to do a summer festival and to see the summer fireworks. I liked how you said "Duh." About the trash cans. It sadly is a problem and I wish there were more trash cans in Japan too. I love Chipotle! And it makes me happy that you have tried Barbacoa meat! I'm originally from South Texas and it's a tradition as a Mexican-American to eat Barbacoa Tacos for breakfast. My husband and I are going back to Japan in February and hope we bump into you to say "GAO" 🦁
You are a beast for braving the heat! We visited a couple weeks ago and really struggled with the intense summer heat, but had a great time regardless. Make sure you take care of yourself during the summer!
Nice video! Ah, it's no joke to be walking around under the heat of the sun.🌞'Though, we can enjoy the perks of summertime with all the festivals, yummy foods, refreshing drinks, bonding time, and a lot more!😂
Thank you for showing us around! Hoppy street was such a treat -- The Ninja Bar is a great karaoke bar under one of the shōtengai 商店街 in Asakusa. Never quit Rion You're an inspiration
Hello, thank you for showing the beauty of Tokyo in Summer. Eagerly looking forward to the summer vlogs because I want to experience all seasons in Japan, including the “not-so-recommended” summer season.
Always love summer Obon mood and also good time to bond with family members. Your expression on the snack bar is precious...hahaha! Keep the summer video rolling in! ❤
The long hot summer adventure continues during the Obon time, as well. The streets are more crowded because of various events everywhere. The Ueno park is always interesting place to visit for there are various contents in such a huge park. Thanks, for your filming and walking effort during such a hot and humid day, but you sre smart enough to hydrate well and eat light food. Let's keep on walking and exploring after Obon time! GAAOOO....
I found your channel due to your Mount Fuji video. I actually re watched it recently popped back up in my suggestions. And I definitely agree with you that I would probably go up in the afternoon and stay at one of the lodges and acclimate my body and then climb the next day and then stay at the hotel at the top of Mount Fuji for sunrise and then probably go back down the next day so for three days will be perfect for me. But it was crazy. You did it all in one day.
Hi Rion! I was at Asakusa on the same day and wanted to go to the Akihabara but it was extremely hot outside. I went to the Don Quijote Asakusa to cool off and eat a sweet potato! Stay hydrated Rion and thank you for your videos.😃
That tofu snack reminds me of a recipe > Chocolate tofu loaf cake (gluten free). Furin is not ideal during the ghost month over here. Haha. I always wondered the coffee latte is coffee or coffee flavoured milk.
Thank you so much for this summer sanpo 😊 I didn’t realize Ueno Park was so big 😵💫 Getting to see all those fuurin twirling in the wind on such a beautiful day completes my summer ☺️🎐✨ What’s your fav item from In ‘n’ Out? 🍔 Mine are from their secret menu-protein style cheeseburger (wrapped by lettuce instead of buns), extra light fries (super soft but surprisingly super tasty), and Neapolitan milkshake (mixing chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream together) 😋
Hi Rion!!! I am less than 3 months away from visiting Tokyo and will definitely be going to Ueno! But now, watching you eat that donut 🍩, I might stop by Akihabara and get one too! If you ever come to Dallas TX, we have a very famous burger chain called Whataburger! So yummy, fresh and huge too! Oh and guess what? Dallas TX will be the first place to get a Uniqlo!!! It will be located at a very nice shopping mall called Dallas Galleria! I can't wait to go see it and also check out the prices 🙌 As always... arigatoo and stay cool ❤️😄
They probably meant the first Uniqlo in Texas? Because they're everywhere. I miss Whataburger but visit it anytime I go back to visit family in Texas. Also, we're going to Japan in Feb! Have fun on your trip!
@TwoTicketsToAdventure !!! I think they did but made it seem like it was the FIRST EVER! 😂🤣Thank you so much and you too have a very safe and blessed time in Japan 🇯🇵❤️
I like latte in 7-11 but Thailand doesn't have coffee machine like this. When I visit Japan, I always buy hot latte in 7-11 because I can keep cup in my backpack while waiting to found garbage or keep it to drop at hotel. ^^ BTW travel in summer it's so difficult, you may have to drink a lot to make you feel cooler like in this video ^^
The over-crowding is horrible it ruins every place. temples, shops, cafes, observation floors. of course in immigration line at narita (1-2 hour waiting time) and crowded trains, crowded streets, places like donki stores - you wait 15 minutes in line to buy a few chocolates. Japan is so not enjoyable due to mass tourism that what you see is far worse on the ground. The street he showed leading to the temple is about 50 minutes of slow crowd-walking in 35-40c heat.
I love Japan but it‘s really sad to see that things like animal shows for example this street perfomer with the monkey are still a thing. :( as sweet as it looks, it‘s still animal abuse.
