Going back to Japa next year in June, can't wait, so much to do and eat with the family. I live in Florida we have high humidity and temps today 27-33 celsius.
Japanese Yen to rise more? Not an issue 1. Have exchanged enough for next 2 trips 2. lol no Japanese Yen is not rising against my currency, I'm a clown for exchanging early
Hi Rion! We just landed in Tokyo from northern UK. The temperature here has been wonderful. Like the summer we never got back home! We are also very used to the humidity, so just enjoying it and making sure to stay hydrated 👍
It's always fun to watch you walking in Tokyo. It just motivate me to plan for another Japan trip. More tourists will be going Japan as many of my friends are going in October.
I remember my first trip to Tokyo, it was July 2018 and it was really hot. The yen then was weaker compared to the rate now you've mentioned, if I'm not mistaken. Will be back there this 3rd week of October. Hope it's cooler, just tolerable for me. Do I need to wear my light jacket?
Arriving from the Northern UK 21/10 and 22C will be just right for me wearing a T shirt, when I was there in May I found 30C was a little too warm for walking and exploring on my first visit to Japan. Thankfully the GBP hasn’t dropped as much compared to the US$, I bought some recently at 182 Yen but wish I had bought in July when it peaked at almost 200. Keep up your great work, invaluable for people like me who want to pack in as much as possible in 14 days.
Hi great video 🙏 yes, like in Luxembourg, 25 degrees would be like “almost” our summerheat peak😂, but nowdays it can get also around 30 thank s to global warmness🤷♂️😅
I hope the Yen stays around where it is now as we're wanting to come back again next November when it's cooler, it made our recent trip very affordable (Yen was around 90-100 to 1 AUD when we visited and everything was super affordable)
25C is okay. If it's 25C with raining and windy, best with light jacket or light sweater. Last time I went to Taiwan around end of year, it's 22-23C and much better, imagine it's AC everywhere outside you go and runaround wildly and you don't get sweat whole day is just great. ARKNIGHTSSSSS, AAAAAAH ~ I went to Aikihabara 2 years ago, desperate to look for this game related poster and figma but I couldn't find them T__T
I’ll be in Japan in a week! I can’t wait! And the weather you’re saying is better compared to Texas lol 😂 if you’ve ever been cremated, you’d understand how hot it’s here haha. So 70’s isn’t cold, that’s perfect lol 😂
I think the people saying 25°C isn’t cold weren’t taking into account what it feels like once the sun went down. At the same time, I think most travelers wouldn’t be staying out all day. We typically always returned to our hotel before it got dark to freshen up or recharge for dinner, where we’d also probably carry that light jacket if necessary.
I’m in Australia and thankfully changed all our travel funds up when the rate was very good, it then fell and slowly rising now, but sounds like will go down again
While it’s certainly beneficial for many travelers to see the yen weak, I wouldn’t mind seeing it get stronger for the sake of the Japanese people. We shall see when we visit in February
1:06 coming from a tropical country where it's almost always hot and humid, 25C is cool, not cold, but 21C? We'll be trembling in cold! haha! But for Europeans and Americans, 25C/77F for sure, that's not cold at all! They could still be sweating in that temperature! 😅 So yeah, I think as well, that they have different standards coz they have harsh winters. Also, Ameyeko street -the gluton in me is happy coz it's so close to where we will stay! Thanks for this video! I'm just so worried about the cloudy and gloomy weather in Tokyo, just like in this video, and its surrounding areas coz I booked Shibuya Sky and a day tour in Mt Fuji but I'm afraid Mt Fuji-san won't show up because of how cloudy it is there 😞and in Shibuya Sky, I read that they may not open the rooftop if the weather condition is bad. Anyway, I'm still hoping for the best!
I'm always glad to receive notification when you post a new video. I enjoy virtually traveling with you through Tokyo, any day of the year. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for brightening my day! 👍
