Apes together, strong! I say it on nearly every video you produce but you really make sure, with every new video, that this channel is still the best on this platform. Amazing as usual. Such a great teacher.
You have THE best Producer channel! So many tips straight to the point. That channel strip tutorial is a game changer - especially with a MIDI controller. Thank you for your hard work
Life Hack: At the beginning of this video, neurotically pressing back arrow is oddly satisfying. And many thanks to you. Hail to the queen of tutorials \o/
This video really speaks to me. Sometimes, I have entire sessions where all I do is tinker with hot keys/preferences/fx chains/shortcuts and don’t actually make any music lol.
fricking phenomenal first tip i used a template for the longest time with a midi track for almost anything i could possibly need, but I run into the issues because i would have to either have emptg tracks or need to create separate tracks anyways that one is killer, thank you
Hi I'm so excited to be a part of your learning experience for real now just download it Ableton intro because I'm a beginner been making music with the ASR 10, Roland's Zen beats and GarageBand. Now I can put all your tutorials to Great use by using them in Ableton! thank you 😊
some things i knew...but i watched the video and each tip i practiced at the same time in ableton, so i get the behavior memory...it worked...thanks again for your kaizen to teach
Definitely a huge workflow tip and efficient use of workflow tip. Almost had to make a template for taking it all in LoL. Great job and major tip for producers. Great job! 👊🧡👍
very nice! I is there an option to show notes for the channel without clicking it ? This is not very efficient for me because if I have, let's say, 80 tracks, I would have to choose each of these to find out if there is a note for it
I just saw that Shift Tab move from Andrew Huang recently.....what a time saver! On the multiple Midi edits, I always had problems trying to get the ones I wanted without selecting everything in between. Control click works for that?
@@Alice-Efe I saw it. Im referring to a more detailed tutorial on how to keep your samples, plugins, ideas, and projects all organized. I know ELPHNT did a great about a year ago and had some great insights for organization. I was just curious to see/hear your perspective in regards to organizing your tools.
I tried your template. For me personally it feels like first time creating music. I am used to doing everything from scratch. Anyways I think I should work through it. But I am more into creative stuff but not analysis
After all these years and I didn´t know cmd+i and shift-tab. Thanks! Do you know if there is any way to upen the gui of an instrument on a midi channel? Clicking on the little wrench every time is slowing me down.
I've in ableton latley but i don´t know how can i put the velocities at the same "volume" all at once, not one note by one note , in fl studio you press right click in the first velocity and then drag the mouse to the right and the velocity of each note reminds the same. How cai i do this in ableton ! is a headache for me this "little" think. Thanks !
This is why I love Reaper - a track is track is a track. MIDI/AUDIO/BUS - all the same. Put MIDI on a track with Audio - Reaper doesn't care. Put a 48kz mono wav on a track with a 128 mbps stereo MP3 - Reaper doesn't care. It just plays the audio.
@Wayne Brown - "Apply FX to item as new take", or use Item FX that can be switched on and off as you desire. With proper session management the original 1st take of anything can be pulled from the Audio Pool at any time if you want to revert. Of course Reaper can't match the exact workflow of every other DAWs features, but there's almost always several workarounds using the freely available SWS extensions or community programmed Reascripts - and these can be set to run at the single click of a custom toolbar button. Hell, you could even program and add your own - it's not a walled garden like ProTools. Add whatever features you want. Ultimately if ProTools works for you, all good, each to their own. I used it for almost 10 years until I discovered Reaper in 2009.
@Wayne Brown - Well if pressing one button, once is too cumbersome 🤷♂️ :) - but seriously, if it's not for you, that's fine. There won't be a solution that pleases everyone. Myself and many others have found ways to implement audiosuite in Reaper.
maybe you know this maybe not but I suggest you to check Live Enhancement Suite (LES) from Dylan Tallchief. thank you for sharing useful information. 🙂
