Avoiding mortality during brooding is possible if only you take the lessons from this video as important.
You don't want diseases to steal your profit or k!ll all your chicks.

I appreciate the teaching. If i had known all these I would not have all the losses I have had. But I have 12 day old chicks and I still spread cartons on the floor, but I discovered that within a day wet the cartons with poo poo and it makes the chicks dirty. At what age for day old chicks should I introduce wood chaff. Thank you.
