I'm really glad I found this series. I have about 150 hours in the game but it was years ago and I forget everything, it feels like. I forgot about the transforming asteroids into mines, glad you got to it in the first episode 👍👍
I was just about to start a new playthrough and decided to search the tubes of you for anyone playing. I am 500 hours in and still learning new things. Like what I've watched so far.
The fact that you found a mine asteroid in the first sector is insane! I have looked for them a lot and visited many seemingly big asteroids, but none were claimable.
this game is a hidden gem, not nearly enough internet pressenc but it is one of the most ejoyable game i have ever played 200 hours playing off and on for years now but recently ive fallen deep into it and have been really enjoying it totally broke the economy lol i have a sector set up with 5 stations all producing and selling stuff whle i got 3 mining teams out on mining orders getting billions of credits and millions of materials
@@Nalasys im not great at pc stuff but my 5 yearold laptop can run it on midrange graphics settings amd still sit around 120 fps, the only issue is that the game isnt optimized very well so towards the mid-endgame youll start having a bit of lag depending on how big and complex you are making your ships
I bought it because I thought the game contained "stealth blocks" and a signature versus detection game mechanism. That was just people on the forum wishing for it. I bought Cold Waters to get what I wanted, but now I'm actually sort of interested in this game.
I really need to get back into this game. I played it a bunch right up to and a little after the torpedo update, but then I just got distracted onto other things. I only ever used one ship that I kept rebuilding with each tier of materials, and I never set up any mines or factories. The only weapons I used were those basic machine guns that I would salvage from anything I destroyed and then churn through research stations. On a few occasions I got game-breaking weapons using this method, allowing me to slice ships in half with very little effort. I think they patched out most of the buggy component generation, but I could be wrong.
Not gonna lie. I began looking into X4 Foundatins, as I heard decent things. Tried it. Was not for me; and landed on this shortly after and weirdly was exactly what I wanted. For whatever reason this game has more... Meaning? Which is a weird phrase because it is sort of like saying a game like Minecraft has meaning. I just found this game isn't trying to be something it is not, like with X4. X4 attempts to be a massive universe sim but space stations felt so lifeless and dull it totally robbed the gameplay for me. X4 is still a good game, no doubt, but for whatever reason felt so lifeless.
i been recomended this game. and i keep going back and forth on it. its on big dale atm. 15 dollars for game and both dlcs.. so i decided i need to shit or get off the pot. so here i am to learn about the game. but its goingto be hard to compete against x4 foundations.
I just wish this game let you build turrets the same way you do ships so you don't end up with a mismatched mess of randomly generated junk for the entire early to mid game
You can, there is a way to make your own turret designs to apply to any turret. I believe you need to make a blueprint for the design either in the ship builder (an edit turret button in the menu) and/or a Turret factory.
Hi there, the server ended up being shutdown due to lack of interest. There ended up being a lot of bugs related to the game itself and people started to drop like flies.
