Question for the pastor? Was he able to convert Avraham to Christianity as he boldly claimed from the start? See this is one of the issues with these believers. 21st century yet they think so highly of the doctrine they've been infused with to the point where they think quoting several scriptures followed by a "emotional" sermon will easily sway a man of Avraham caliber. Very short sighted to say the least. Next time just have your facts right or face embarrassment at your own peril. People are waking up. They're not yesterday's fools not to question what they don't understand. There's tons of information readily available for a probing mind to look for. We're not stupid!
Sofo why do you have to suffer like this to explain a single text for our understanding? I believe in Christ and in the Holy Spirit but I don't understand why the Holy Spirit will not give the ordinary believer understanding of the Bible to develop faith unless a pastor gives him the understanding?
