I'll never stop loving Avril. She is fantastic and it's a shame more people don't listen to her or know who she is. I get bullied for loving Avril and the people who bully me haven't even heard her sing. It's silly. I'm never going to stop having a real taste in music so they need to shut up.

Yes, that's exactly why. They bully me because they say my music is awful, according to them. I actually enjoy the songs off of Let Go and Under My Skin better than the other albums. I still like the other albums just not as much. The other ones seem more popish-except for Bad Girl that is-and I like rock chords a little better because it's something I can rock out to a little better. I never listen to those bullies. I never have. They've been bullying me all my life for stupid reasons. I'm not bothered by it anymore.
Yes. I've recently dealt with a lot of crap and I still am but now it's starting to calm down. The sad thing is that nobody understands me except for one person. They all bully me. One moment they are making fun of me for being who I am and then the next they are telling me how much they love me. It's all just an act. They all are jerks and I don't listen to them. I just stick with my own kind that is only 2% of the class. I ignore the bullies and think of a quote of Avril's I love "If you don't like me for who I am, you don't love me for who I am and all you will get is who I am."

So now I'll tell you why Avril is always going to be the only one for me. I remember myself as a little boy listening to so many songs, but I was too young back then to know who the artist was. I just listened to the songs and enjoyed them. I was too young to understand english but the music itself and the voice were the too important points, what made listen to songs. Soo some years passed and then I realised suddenly, that all of the songs I'v been listening to were all from Avril Lavigne. I searched for more and today I now every single song of hers and understand the lyrics. This song is so touching and describes in some way my feelings. She has so many meaningful songs and at the same time also songs just to enjoy. So even if I wasn't there in the beginning (I was 6 in 2002 ^^) I'm so going to be there in the ending

As I watch these old videos I realise how much I miss "old Avril". Her songs -especially from this album'- are deep, full with meanings and feelings...
You do realise that even in her last album, there ARE songs that are full of meanings and feelings, right? Even after all this time some people are still making it appear like the last album is filled with "Hello Kitty" type songs.

Admittedly, Under My Skin is her best era in terms of vocals. Just watch all her Nobody's Home or My Happy Ending during this era. She delivered such emotional and powerful performance there. After this era, I got the feeling that she just lost her passion in music :( I am no music experts but it is apparent that her vocal performances sound lazy and shrilling these days. She lost her musicality and emotion when singing. I am looking forward to seeing her delivering powerful and remarkable perfomances again. But it seems unlikely...

Nowadays These people aren't caring about real music and their meanings or anything.. These guys only want some dirty clothes and scenes !!! 2018 and it still gets to me every time. The acoustic versions of this song (my favorite is this one) I feel are so much better than the actual studio recorded versions. The was she’s so soft spoken during the chorus is so good and moving than in the studio one. My favorite girl with a guitar she just needs to release her music she’s working on right now :’)
