For some reason I thought the tail rotor actuator was FBW, must be the 189.Do you know how the super silent MGB works, how is is different from the standard transmission?
In the AW139 tail rotor no FBW system, its mechanical rod linkage with hydraulic assisted for easy operation. MGB of AW139 contains three stages reduction gearbox. It uses a planetary gear set for final reduction therefore its operation is so quiet.
