Animes can make anything intimidating Eg)death note : chip scene Dragon ball series: shouting Jojo:skipping, wall climbing ,running on a treadmill, gambling, etc
Honestly that ending shot of Yoma climbing down the apartment building wall felt straight out of Junji Ito. This whole story is genuinely kind of terrifying.
A lot of people misunderstand Yoma when he says "It's his birthday, right? Your Ex's?" he isn't referring to another person, he's actually referring to himself or his past self. He basically broke up with her when he told her that which is why she became so upset. The phrase he uses in Japanese loses something when translated to English so it sounds too literal.
If Yoma is always portrayed to be extremely buff, even with part 4/part 8 art style, imagine just how massive his body would look in the part 1 art style
@@tommynson440I would say not really if this was like the part 5 art style and jotaro still looked buffer I’d doubt he’d been in the tarkus weight class I’d say that he would be around part 1 zeppelin
Your going to ask that considering how far the anime version of this series has been and what insane crap that happened? Man Parts 6 to 8 will definitely make you confused Anyways the answer is "Cause its jojo"
And hes a fusion.......bro thinking of a guy with 4 testes on his one member.........bruh must be looking like a scifi gun imagining it (try not to imagine it im sry)
I feel like Mika chan is one of the few secondary character that feel "real", as a woman or just generally a character No exaggerated traits or reactions, she's trying so hard to be nice and acceptable and keeps her calm But I think anyone here would snap if their SO took their credit card, knew their ex's birthday and spent all the money making the entire rental house a bouldering wall :')
Do not press my profile pic No I legitimately think that the idea of gods especially Greek and Norse would be interesting especially if they can posses people and give them stand like abilities
What I love about Rohan and part IV is that they expand the lore of the franchise to really strange places: zombies, ghosts, curses, actual divine possesions... you nane it.
Hermes: Messenger of the Greek Gods, God of trade, speed, brings the spirits of the dead to Tartarus, probably one of the most peaceful boys in Greek Mythology Araki: Demon God that possess ripped boy and turns him into a murderer with muscle wings
@@Hugme778Well there are some exceptions. Hades isn't the discount devil that the Hercules movie portrayed him as. He's just a guy doing his job who loves his wife and dog. Hephaestus is also a good guy, which is kind of surprising considering all the shit he has gone through. But the most unproblematic God of all has to be Hestia though that might be because most of the time she just minds her own business. Even Zeus knows you don't want her smoke
I think the creepiest thing about this whole scenario is how out of nowhere it all feels. There was no Stand attack. This guy is not ascribed any bizarre family history. There’s no legend surrounding the area this takes place in. This guy wasn’t known to be a dangerous obsessive before. He just exercised, in ways that make total sense for his job. And he enjoyed the process. Only for it to slowly take over his mind and his life. By the time anyone saw him as dangerous, he was far, far gone. And we’ll never know *why* Hermes (if he is the cause of this) came down to this man in particular.
well it's girls that dosen't find this beautiful, and they are right with the guys that are way too big. litteraly no point to become way too big, especially if you look bad like that. but JoJo characters they were born to be buff
"My girlfriend and I broke up yesterday." "Oh man, that's rough. Are you okay?" "Okay? Are you kidding? I'm great! Y'see, thanks to my buddy Hermes, I had my escape plan all thought out..."
Araki really should have made this into a full on part. The whole possession by gods and ghost hauntings are really interesting and a breath of fresh air from stands
On the other hand, Yoma Hashimoto turned into an avatar of Hermes and Hermès Costello is a Stone Ocean character. Perhaps this was foreshadowing that Stone Ocean anime was going to be announced soon.
I think a trait I will always love about jojo is the fact that ANYTHING can be made ínstense. A card game, a game of throwing popcorn into the air and catching it with your mouth, and running on a treadmill. Somehow, the show finds a way to keep you tense and you never know what the hell will happen next. Specially since the show is named, well….. Bizarre adventure.
@@JohnyMiko heaven’s door’ ability is extremely OP though. It was never given solid limits either meaning we don’t actually know the limits to what Rohan can do to the world.
@@justnuttedinasock2054 demon u mean. CHRIST IS LORD. HE returns soon. don't believe these false demonic pagan "gods" as I have before being saved and freed.
@@justnuttedinasock2054 actually no, I tried greek gods they are demonic and fake. CHRIST healed me. It's crazy how a lot of people love gods but not CHRIST. Doesn't that say something? So basically, seek HIM with all your heart and you'll find HIM.
Jojo has everything, from people that use sunlight magic, vampires, people who use their spirit to fight others, ghosts, aliens, ancient greek gods, parallel universes... *The word "bizarre" is indeed fitted to this work of god.*
I love how Rohan is fully aware that stands exist that give characters muscles and superhuman abilities, but when he encounters a guy that's so ripped his appearance morphs and he's able to perform superhuman feats, he immediately assumes that the Japanese man must be possessed by the Greek God of fitness (which is NOT Hermes, btw)
@@JPduprat it can also mean theres a stand Anubis and an actual egyptian god Anubis, all of Thus Spoke Rohan is basically reminding us post part 2 JJBA world still has other weird shit besides Stands
@@naamadossantossilva4736 Because the smith machine locks you into an unnatural range of motion, perfectly perpendicular to the floor. During free weight lifting, there's always some degree of horizontal movement of the weight as you balance yourself. The muscle activation and subsequent growth resulting from this balancing will both lead to a better physique and a lower risk of injury. In addition, failure of this stabilization during the lift is an important indicator that you're either fatigued and should stop or that you're lifting too heavy and you should stop. It's called form breakdown. The Smith machine, and really any weight lifting machine with a fixed range of motion, will hide form failure, leading to a higher risk of injury in the short term. So effectively, while it may allow you to lift a little bit heavier because some of the work is being done for you, it puts you in harms way both in short and in long term. Due to it making lifting "easier", it is incompatible with the usual reasons one engages in strength training. As I like to say, if you want to lift real heavy real easy, we invented forklifts for that.
It all makes sense now. The way Rohan handled Koichi like a kite in the ghostly neighborhood of DIU didn't make sense to me. But now I see homeboy was fking ripped under the baggy outfit
@@seankock7649 if he could (he can’t) he be an absolute dumbass more of a dumbass than okuyasu he could make himself the ultimate lifeform he could make it so that he will never be defeated he could make it so that everyone would do whatever he says heaven’s door ability is comparable to the world over heaven’s reality overwrite
Can't wait for the Live action adaptation of this episode!! So far, the first 3 episodes of the live action have been Great, And I really just want to see THIS one the most!!
I thought it was hilarious when this man rock climbed out of his gf’s apartment after a argument like “Aight fine I’ll go” **Intense grunting as he scales down the rock climbing wall**
Imagine being so buff and cool that you needed a fucking whole bouldering set on the whole room but if someone disagrees with you, then you'll be coming down from rental apartment outside climbing down with a bouldering set
Nothing new.. Anubis is a Stand too (sentient at that), along with other Egyptian gods. Hermes could have been a stand if stands maybe went off of Greek god names too I guess.
This isn’t the first guy who’s been posses by an actual god. Which is crazy and I wish this was explored more since Anubis was a god possessed in a sword. I wonder is gods and stands have something in common here
I’m assuming that they’re benching 115 or 95 by the looks of the plate size 0:14 for reference The biggest one is 45 lbs (2nd to top) The smallest on is 15 lbs (top) 2nd to bottom is 35 lbs Bottom is 25 lbs
Dude turns an entire building into a bouldering setup, than leaves through the window, and climbs down said bouldering setup, and it’s still the most dramatic shit in the world. Why? Because jojo
