placing the soak to the edge of room is not ideal,.. you should be placing it near puddles so you can take the tank aoe blast into the space where no one is standing (BCS of pudles).. and what about the time when you are afking at the edge of arena when the boss is in the middle (ball phase) :( :D ?
@@Dyelawn57 you would get your balls even if u started at the max melee range (with luck even under the boss).. as a tank you don't really care about one stack of debuff from the fiery aoe ground sh*t
On the subject of puddles in front of the boss, that's because the other tank did the soak mechanic where the boss was facing, after that, players that got the soak cannot take damage or they die, but there's not room behind the boss, due to bad positioning of the boss after the first set of puddles, that is filled with people with the other mechanic, so the only alternative to dodge this shit is to go to the front or the middle. So DPS and Healers that soaked cannot miss the mechanic, and needs to be healed. On the second ring the same mistake applies you litterally gave no room for DPS to be behind the boss. After that I stopped watching because is too painful to see, specially when you deal unnecessary damage to the raid not moving far away from boss after soak.
idk how i ended up here but 1. you're on a tank. nothing is that hard for a tank. 2. you completely turned your back to the boss and ran out and then complained that the other tank "ripped aggro" no. 3. they are pugs, pugs to pug shit. if yall had wiped you probably could have run it back and not had those same issues. and probably the most important thing that will help: its season 4. its not a real season. interesting way of presenting tho
I absolutely am a bad tank. Just did it so the group could go and I had been waiting for about two hours at that point. Thank you for finding the presentation interesting. It was mostly meant to be funny and not a super serious video.
There's something hilarious watching someone complain about others when they are getting knocked into lava. Just because you have a larger health pool doesn't mean your mistakes mean nothing. You also did the cardinal sin of turning your back to the boss, good luck dodging when not facing the thing you are supposed to dodge. You also get hit by the nuke phase ring. You are out of place for geysers more than anyone else. "people are letting their heal absorb get healed off in the worst place" .... Lol.... Typical bad tank player who blames everyone else for them playing badly, "Smolderon separates the gooders from the badders" rofl yeah I would have kicked you if you tanked like that in my raid :'). Also a rotation helper.... on a tank..... oof. Its ok to be bad but to call these people bad when you yourself are playing poorly is a little hypocritical. This has got to be rage bait.
I never said I didn't make any mistakes. My primary role is DPS on a ranged caster so yeah, I am a bad tank lol. Also, Hekili is a suggestion not the rule. This video was mostly meant to be funny. You don't HAVE to be a piece of shit on the internet. That is your right, I am just saying you aren't required to do it.
@@Dyelawn57 The difference is I'm not making videos shitting on others while actively doing worse than they are. Your healers and DPS actually carried you, not the other way around.
Listen man, I will be the first person to say that I am a piece of shit that doesn't deserve air. I wasn't attacking anyone specific, the whole encounter went poorly but we somehow killed it.
