Hi Loch, thank you for this video. I'm wondering, If the ego is ultimately an illusion, doesn't talking to the parts reinforce that illusion? Can the parts really "listen", "think" or "feel" ? They're ultimately not real, right? Shouldn't we just see that they are only thinking patterns, and not dwell on the past ? Thanks for your insights 🙏
Ultimately our ego manager, parts and our bodies are impermanent, empty of being separate things and therefore could be be called illusory or dreamlike from the Ultimate level. However, the non-dual view is that Ultimate reality arises as Relative reality and so these parts need care just like your foot and other people. This is the missing link to embodying awakening.
@@LochKelly I had the intuition of what you responded, but also some intellectual blocages, as to my mind, only the ultimate reality was really "true". Probably due to some neo advaita stuff I've been watching recently... Thank you for the clarification 🙏
