Makes me realise why I love English football so much, I'm not into the whole fireworks, glitter and high fives thing when the team scores. That said however I love the effort you went to to get this video up and get to the game, respect man, just not my cup of tea :)
+Park3r2 I love that you stated it that way. It's nice to see a European fan actually provide reasonable criticism of our sport and acknowledge that it does come down to personal opinion. I get so pissed off when Europeans (usually Scandinavian or British) go onto Americans sports videos just to talk shit about our supporters or our sports in general, sometimes without even watching the whole videos. They don't even say what they dislike, the just say our fans are shit and theirs are the best in the world. Respect.
+Chris V actually mate I liked the video because even though American sports aren't my thing I understand the amount of effort Ellis has put into this video, I said nothing against American sport I just said it wasn't my cup of tea so I think you're actually being quite unreasonable
Okay if that what you don't like though you should know that every team does slightly different. I mean fireworks are a little bit more common but Orlando is team only team that does glitter. I kind of like it though because it adds a like character to them/ makes them more unique. Everyone has Anthem/s and lineups though.
As an Orlando City fan and Ruckus member, it's nice to see someone from the UK actually say some nice things about the MLS. Usually it's the same generic banter and name calling but this is a welcome change. Dude, you're always welcome in Orlando. Vamos Orlando!
Quick tip for anyone going to a MLS game in the future, if you get them direct from the club, supporters section tickets are the cheapest in the stadium. Yet another great video and proof that MLS deserves to be spoken about!
I have always been a fan of the MLS I feel it is so underrated across the world. So many future players will come out of that league and the fans are always incredible.
Hey, next time you visit Orlando and want to come to a match, contact me and you are more than welcome to come to section 121 of the ILF. Glad you enjoyed the game and your stay (y)
Cheers and glad you had a great experience with us at the Citrus Bowl supporting our Lions!!! Thanks for the positive comments and hope you can make it back in the future!!! Vamos Orlando!!! Sean/ Iron Lion Firm.
Just came across your channel and am hooked! Great videos. Glad you enjoyed your time here in Orlando! It's great to see fans from other countries appreciate what MLS is doing.
Glad you had a great time! I never realized how massive our sound is, it was thunderous. Next time you're in Orlando, you have to stop by the Ruckus tailgate and take in another level of the game day experience. Thank you for this epic video!! Ruckus Till I Die, City Till I Die. Vamos Orlando!
Nice video - I'm always interested to hear an English perspective about the growth of football in the US. Also, I love watching the EPL in the mornings on the weekend. We definitely love our Lions here in Orlando - cheers!
Enjoyed all your videos you've done, especially then English lower and non-league stuff, reminded me of when I was younger I travelled all over the country following my club Carlisle United, every away game was a great experience, not just for the football but a chance to see another part of our country, do miss the buzz on a Saturday setting off not knowing what the day might bring be it good or bad, glad I had the opportunity to do it. You and your mates are doing it the right way, well done, and all the best for your future travels.
You should come watch a San Jose Earthquakes match in the future. We always have one match a season vs our rivals (la galaxy) in late June in a 50K capacity stadium rather than our normal 18K one and the atmosphere is always fantastic as the supporters section is singing for the whole 90 minutes. The match itself is also always fantastic. Trust me, you won't regret it. If you can't make it to the bigger stadium though, you should definitely still try catching a game at our smaller stadium which has 18K capacity which is also quite unique as it has a bar rather than an actual stand at one end. The atmosphere is also great there too.
Glad you enjoyed it bro! Next time you have to come down into the Supporters Section!..and also come tailgate with us, which is like the american version of bringing the pub to a match, lol. -Jake, IronLionFirm & drummer for The Wall
Enjoyed your video...It was cool to see the match from your perspective. I have only ever been to football matches in the US and in Brazil. Both a Premier League and UEFA Champions League game are on my bucket list.
Thank you for coming and supporting our team! I'm part of the Ruckus, those people down there that you loved so much! Thank you so much for this awesome video! Come back soon and visit us! Next time come sit with us down there! By the way we are sharing your video like crazy among us hahaha. We loved it!
+Evan Greenblatt mad respect for the Cosmos, I wish they made it into MLS rather than this dumb NYCFC.... You guys will get there somehow some way one day!
+Leyton Orient fan1881 If you don't think we are passionate....bro, you aren't paying attention. The Wall = Passion+Atmosphere facebook.com/TheWallDrumline/videos/1642949625980405/
Make sure you look out for Robbie willmott at ebbsfleet played for Newport last year and was absolutely class in league two no idea how he didn't stay in the football league when Newport cut the squad but he's brilliant to watch
Thanks for coming and making this video. Tbh we actually felt a bit quieter for this game than usual because once it hit 3-0 it seemed like people started to accept the game was over. The wall is at its loudest when we are down a goal and pressing to get back into the game, have been times where my ears have literally hurt following a match. If you are looking for good places to go for another mls match orlando, skc, rsl, toronto, Vancouver, portland, and seattle are the best places. (I know you listed a few of these). Send me a message if you are coming back and I will get you a ticket in the middle of the supporters section as we have a private resell page within the groups where they are traded at face value if not just given away to a legitimate fan.
Also once we get into our new stadium next year with a roof and the ability to have smoke in the supporters section again it will be even louder and better atmosphere.
+pureindian407 during the goals yes but the normal singing and stuff kinda died for stretches in the second half. We were literally yelling at the capos to start something.
+Dan Sinnott He scored for Orlando City once last season and it was a game winner late in the game. He ran around afterwards with no idea what to do... it was beautiful! Also, if you watch this video of the goal; you get to see a perfectly weird guy point right at the camera at the perfect moment... sort of beautiful too: www.mlssoccer.com/post/2015/10/03/goal-seb-hines-smashes-it-give-orlando-city-lead
+John Hodson you should have seen his face during our preseason friendly during Bahia.... He had a 4 goal game. It was nutty, it was the last preseason game and probably won him the starting job for opening day.
Fantastic video again Ellis that was some away day I have just watched the American ultras truly do compete with Europe but not too impressed with the plastic families you were sitting around. When you get back to England please look at going to Maidenhead great fans or dartboard great facilities decent fans . Just a shout. Keep the content up mate !!!!
hi, I tend to watch most of your lower league videos but I ve got tickets tomorrow to a Carlisle game. Just wondering if you ve ever been there? Is it good atmosphere? A good stadium?
