When people are looking for clips of different exhausts to know which one they might want to buy, THIS is the kind of video they're looking for. Every single exhaust review video needs to have this level of detail.

Bro this is the best exhaust review video I have ever seen. Tbh if u bought different exhausts for the s5 and keep making vids like this I think ur channel would blow up. Or any part for the car tbh that makes a significant different! Great video!
The track can have some drone around 2000 rpms but I wouldn't say it's too bad at all. I'd still buy it again over the touring even if they were the same price.
Looking to buy an S5 soon and this is literally the best exhaust review i've ever seen. What mods have you done to get the supercharger whining so loudly, just the air intake?
@brunomatassini9879 For what I know, the 6MT and 7AT have a similar gearing setup. So for my car when in 6th gear, the drone isn't that bad. It's still a loud exhaust system, but I wouldn't consider the drone in 6th gear to be annoying.
It definitely does. I have the Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake. Before the intake, the supercharger noise was pretty much nonexistent. Now you can hear it whine just like in the video.
Thank you! I don't have the link, but I bought it right off AWE's website. I bought the AWE Track Exhaust with 102mm diamond black tips. I did not buy any downpipes. I left the stock ones on the car.
I listened to them and I was trying to figure out track with res or touring with non res and this video I'm staging gave me my answer ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t5gOAJxJKQU.htmlsi=dlhNwait42AZ8eBq I'm going touring with non res personally
Nice video. Like everyone said, very informative. In your opinion if changing out the stock downpipes to the resonated, would it decrease the drone alot, or not much? What do you think?
In my opinion, the drone would be lessened if you get the resonated downpipes. I've been thinking of doing that myself. And my diffuser is the ECS Tuning diffuser for the S5.
@jasonsmith7809 yeah I noticed that right after I installed them, but went back in a few days later, readjusted and it's perfect now. It took me like 10 minutes.
hey nice video! random question is your car black or a dark blue? mine is dark blue, and im debating the black badges/ chrome delete. i really like how your car looks
@@brandonswaby6453 ahhh i see i see. looks absolutely beautiful man, those wheels too. honestly the whole car is the best possible spec in my opinion haha. and i think your video has convinced me to get that awe track. im getting test pipes, and jhm hi flow catted & baffled downpipes as well.
@Mizaq Enyad I've changed my exhaust setup since this video. Instead of test pipes, I gutted the cats, and that helped to cut out a lot of the rasp that comes with test pipes. It is a little more raspy than in this video. But I'm definitely still a fan. I might do a follow-up video with my new setup.
@@brandonswaby6453 ah i see. yea everyone keep recommending doing that with the cats, maybe ill go that route. but check out the hi-flow catted downpipes JHM makes. they cut out the rasp and smell i've been told.
A few months later, it has still been just as enjoyable. I love the sound and in my opinion the noise level is very liveable. This car is my daily driver.
There definitely is some drone with this exhaust. If you're accelerating at around 2000 rpms, it is the most noticeable. For me, it really isn't that bad, especially because you won't be in that drone frequency for more than a couple of seconds. Even with the drone, I would still buy the exhaust again.
@brandonswaby6453 question for u does the dsg transmission seem like notchey to u at times like a bit clunky going into reverse at times ? Just curious
