First time in Chincoteague was like 1964 or 1965. Pictures of ponies in 1968. You would not believe the changes in Chincoteague and Assateague. Have photos of ponies out in the streets going toward Assateague. Now beach is flat. No more dunes. Was once a small quaint island. We went all the time and got to know islanders and had such fun. Haven't been since 2017.

My family has not been able to go to Assateague for 4 years now. It's the longest we have ever went without going. I hope we can go this year. I can only hope

Jeff 😧💔its almost like being in withdraws or sumthin!!😬ive not gone since 2011!!!😧 havent ever been this long w.o. a trip to 'my island' ever in my life!! Im definitely a different woman without havn that monthly trip to Assateague in me smh i hope the dry spell ends soon (for both me and u lol) n i never hqfto experience this again!😧💔its horrible
