I can't thank you enough for reminding me of Chincoteague..I was there only once but it was incredible. I'm 78 years old now, so it was a long time ago. I was driving south from nyc, just wandering. On the Cape May to Lews ferry someone suggested that I visit Chincoteague because it was a new park of some sort. Well when I got there was flabbergasted. Except for a brand new road in center of the island there was nothing at all. I got out my car and walked around for a while. Nothing but sand, brush and mosquitos. Not a footprint, no sign of campers or anything. I was stunned and spent 2 hours looking around. Thought you might be intereted. Thanks again.
