@@CalineTechnology any possibility of ever doing a reverse reverb or delay with mix control for dry signal? No budget ones that I know of and I know y'all would do a great job at it.

@@CalineTechnology I use budget pedals for sound design and experimental audio. Ambient delays and reverb are essential. Usually when a budget pedal has reverse it sits very quietly in the mix, even at 100% wet, it may also have a really limited delay/decay time, often it will sound very "digital" granular, and finally it may well clip on anything remotely approaching line level. There you go, that's what's not wanted. I have an Island delay by donner and a cuvave multi delay. Neither of their reverse delays are any good. Suffering from some or all of he above. Especially weak sounding on full wet. I have a digitech digi delay x series. I love it. Even though the reverse is quirky and temperamental it's clear bold and strong in the mix. I love it and so do all of my fellow artists that have used it.
It's pedal heaven now here on earth with al these budget pedals that sound reasonably to pretty good. Obviously, if I had the money I d buy the creators version. Or Strymon, all of it.
All reverb pedals I know acts exactly like this. In fact I am not aware of any pedal which have a tail of the effect when you turn it off. I may be wrong though.
How did you get that sound for Sound 3? It’s amazing. Were you playing chords with a volume swell? Either with volume knob or pedal? Sounded very cool. Great demo and playing!

The unanswered question is "does it do normal reverb, like, at all?" I'm intrigued by this pedal and others like it but I'd like to know if it's all shimmer all the time. What happens when you turn the shimmer all the way down? I have the Flamma FC02, which gets a little shimmery-ish but does normal well too. Be cool to find one that can do it all for a reasonable price.
I wanted to use this pedal for solos and stumped across one at our local shops. I was just curious though, If you turn the shimmer knob totally off... can you get it to a setting similar (or closer) to a plate/room reverb (or just like any normal reverb) without the shims?

Hi Perry. Really enjoy your music and your reviews. I purchased this pedal and I like the way it sounds but when I engage it on my pedal board it makes reverb pop sound. So if I want to bring it into a mix while playing live it's kind of a disruptive sound. Is that normal?
@@PerryFrank I was just saying that if you didn't want to keep yours I would buy yours off of you, I understand that you don't work for the company. It's not on Amazon or the company's website anymore, not even on reverb. No help needed, just offering to buy people's Wonderlands!

I have this pedal, and I have no idea how you're making Sound 3 with just a guitar. Is this utilizing a volume pedal, or automatic volume like with Early Riser or something?
@@PerryFrank it's kinda funny that there are videos detailing how to get that ambient sound.. Rarely see anyone use the volume for that slight delay and rise.
@@soundvandal3570 I'm no guitarist but I do have one and an Industrial Ektara I built. I use them for sound design. The Ektara. Has a strat pup and a piezo pup. Each have a volume knob. The piezo feedback like crazy. I use the volume knob to get gated feedback between notes. I'm thinking of adding one to my guitar now. Great with a fuzz face or super fuzz.

But I don't need to hear it in every freakin' pedal demo! Sometimes I think people do it so they don't have to play as much clean and expose their shortcomings as players...
