One of the reasons I want to get a GoPro is to get my fish handling time down. No more fumbling for my iPhone or anything like that. Just hold them up for a second and release.

Great vid per the usual, makes me wish I was down there not freezing in Maine. Got leader on a 80-100lb tarpon on a trip years ago, I’ll never forget looking up and seeing that monster tail walk across the water. Living vicariously with these vids🤷‍♂️ Merry Christmas fellow fishaholics! 🎄🎄🎄

Haha well there must be some good ice fishing up there right now. It’s funny living down south I’ve been watching ice fishing videos because I can’t do that right now. But I definitely love waking up every morning and it’s nice and warm out hahaha. That’s a big big Tarpon though! I just lost one around 100lbs the other day. Ate a 16” mullet right at the boat!!

Yeah and there is very little oxygen in there so big predators can’t go in there to eat them.

Tarpon could be pain in the arse once you get hook on it cause they tend to crash the surface and trashing around messing with your hook and mostly endup they broke off from you.

I fished the keys for the passed few days, I fished Islamorada and Marathon, I caught barracuda, Jack, and finally caught some big yellow Jack and mangrove snapper. I was praying for a tarpon…. Next time gadget next time
