It is the little things you do, like notching the chicken coop rafters, that makes your home and other structures very nice to look at and extremely well built. It takes time and patience to build the way you do but in the end it all pays off as it has for you Lance and Cinda.
Thank you Lance & Cinda for this series! Thank you not just for showing us your coop, but thank you for really taking the time to teach and show how everything is done. There's too many not-so-good plans people are pedalling on the internet these days, and this is how I truly learn best and follow along. Much appreciated and nice coop!
It's been our pleasure to watch all the videos from the cabin to the chicken coop. Absolutely love the chicken coop. Great job guys . The chicks are going to love it😊
You guys are amazing, I am starting my Homestead and once I am ready for my chicken coop, I will definitely reflect back to your channel for this layout.
Hello...Just found your channel. Got to see the build of 3 parts. Gosh you work good together. Fabulous job .Got to see the chicks from the beginning. They do grow fast. Luck is on your side. Until the next time be happy and take care.
Congratulations on the excellent job you´ve done. The Serafin´s Chicken Coop is incredible! Both of you work great with a little help from Brody and Indie. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Have a nice weekend and don´t take too long to post another video! Thank you!
Such a satisfying job I think? Your own lumber, mailed by you and then designed and built. Lovely wee home for the girls. Enjoy those eggs when they come. Loved the forethought into security and safety - and cleaning out! Well done.
if all of us shared these videos on Facebook we can get more followers which they deserve for their awesome videos. Have a blessed day if you read this.
Thanks! We weren’t really sure how big to make them, but they seem quite happy with this size. The hickory is nice because the bark has a nice texture and it doesn’t fall off when it dries. 😊
Thanks Jacob! It was a fun project and the chickens have been enjoying it. We have 14 little hens and they have been laying 11 to 13 eggs a day!! Super good for this time of year😊
Hello you two! One notices immediately that the mini chickens feel comfortable. No wonder, with such a beautiful home. One day they will lay two eggs a day😅😂👍. Best regards from Hans and Cheers🍻🇦🇹.
Cinda, I am impressed with your woodworking skills. This is a great series. I'm considering building a coop rather than purchasing one, and this will be an excellent reference. Thanks so much Lance and Cinda.
Cindy and Lance, your chicken coop is just amazing! These chickens that you are bringing in,are living the dreams…..I wishI was a chicken…….maybe a rooster…hehehehe….loving it guys!
Good job on the coop! 👏❤...when i was growing up my grandma raised chickens in her backyard in Malaysia and we had tons of snakes too. She raised a pair of geese in the next fence and that kept the snakes away...snakes don't like goose. Maybe its something you can try. I grew up helping my grandma raise the chicks/chickens so watching your video hits a soft spot in me. It was my job to feed them and collect the eggs.
Thanks! That’s interesting about the goose keeping snakes away. We have a lot of water snakes in our koi ponds but they are not poisonous. I know they eat eggs and baby birds though, because we have seen them in our bird houses! Nice memories of your grandma! It’s funny how some things really bring back good memories 😊💕
Very nice and clean work you guys did. I'll probably try to build a chicken coop like this once I have my house outside Lisbon (Portugal). Thanks for sharing!
