Let us know below what you think of this stunning coop and aviary in Cedar Mountain NC! So many great ideas in the design of this entire coop and garden area!
Awesome! Beautiful coop and run! I watched a fellow in Australia build his coop and covered run, then he built several different gardening areas off the main run. He then would let his chickens go in the garden areas based on seasons to clean up weeds etc. And his main run also had a sink with running water. He cleaned the veggies in there and tossed the stems, etc. To the chickens. I thought that was a brilliant idea!
I think this is my absolute dream coop because of the size and headspace, it's just great. I love the reclaimed wood. So visually pleasing. Also for practically, i love the set up of the hen house with the deep litter facing into the run and the tools to clean it right below so you have everything you need right there. Bringing this small extra little storage solution inside the run is just great. Also, can i just say, i love your enthusiasm.
I live in Cedar Mountain NC & my husband & son intend to make a new similar coop. I wonder how close this is to us. Where ever this is it is much more level ground than we have. But a beautiful setting, great coop & garden. Very fun to get to see.
Love this chicken coop! I'll be adding my own Carolina Coop in Western NC in 2024, so much to learn. Thanks for walking us through this incredible coop and sharing the details!!
Fabulous! Only true chickeneers (I am one!!) can identify with the quality build for our little ladies. By the way, would you happen to know where the owner sourced all the laying hen metal art? I have spent hours on the internet trying to find. Cheers and keep doing what you are doing!
Wow! One of my all time favorite videos you all have done. I got several ideas I want to incorporate into my #CarolinaCoops hen house watching this video. Beautiful coop and setting. #backyardchickens #chickencoops #chickenpolice
WOW STUNNING!!! Blown away by all the functionality of the intervonnecting areas. Love the Craftsman Shed Coop Combo bit coupling it with the Aviary and Gatden takes it to an enturely jew level. ❤❤❤ Absolutely Gorgeous!!!!
Love the videos! But you gotta remove the force closed caption!!! There is a section when you upload the video that you can drop your closed caption file for people to optionally turn on and off. It also helps with SEO as it tells google what is in your video. Having it forced on the video does not help with SEO at all.
This is really beautiful. I love it! Can someone tell me what those things for the cables are, as I can’t really spell them and see if we have them in our country
This is a custom chicken coop, meaning that this chicken coop owner gave us a call and based on what we currently offer, they made a request for their coop to be a little different to fit their lifestyle. It's a great option we provide to those who come to us looking for a coop. With that being said, this coop was based off of our craftsman coop model with some modifications. The craftsman model coop is known for having a henhouse combination of a shed and a henhouse, allowing for coop owners to walk in, store, and interact with their chickens from within the coop as if they were walking into a shed! Here's a link to our craftsman coop so you can get idea of what a craftsman goes for and how prices may vary depending on the custom options you choose. Link: carolinacoops.com/shop/craftsman-coop/ And as always, if you want to know more about acquiring a coop, you can email us at sales@carolinacoops.com or just give us a call at 919-794-3989. Happy Chicken Owning!
We've seen various chicken owners use accessories meant for dogs, cats, and other animals when it comes to something out of the ordinary yet extremely good for chickens.
We use half inch PVC coated black hardware cloth. You can purchase it here: carolinacoopsflockshop.com/collections/coop-accessories/products/black-hardware-cloth
I think you are very crsy. All of these thinks for hens. This house can be a dream for people to have as a home not for animals. I think you are a rich man who does not What to do with his money
I’ve always heard of the compost not being a good thing for them to forage around in the run. That’s why it needed to be cleaned out. Can anyone explain this mentality further of cleaning the coop into the run instead of wheelbarrowing it out?
