Thanks, Lynette!! They are pretty fantastic. There's something different about these embossing powders. I don't know if it's just bigger chunks they're using to melt or what but they act different than any other embossing powder I've ever used.

Misty I have a similar embossing powder from Stampendous and it is soooo fun to watch it melt! Thank you for showing that wonderful trick of popping up both the outlined vellum & sentiment using craft foam. Dimension & no glue showing...just brilliant! Good luck everyone on the giveaway!

These are beautiful embossing powders. That distressed tool looks awesomeness. I enjoy coloring I purchased stamps from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. I just found them about a yr ago. Thanks for an exquisite card

I understand what you're saying about the embossing powders flying everywhere - like you I tried heating from underneath, I ended up buying the Wow heat tool which has 2 heat settings but even with that the powder still got everywhere. Loved the cards that you made, I've got that embossing powder so must give this a try. Thank you.

Your cards are awesome!! I love Honey Bee Stamps! They have a special three pack of WOW embossing powders that I believe are exclusive to them. I think Catherine Pooler might have a special WOW embossing powder pack too.

Thank you, Nicole!! I just got a Wow/Simon Says Stamp 3 pack but I can't remember what it's called. It has like Halloween colors in it but I really like it. I like the 3 packs they do with different companies like that.

Try attaching your die cut to either a piece of card stock with some ATG , after touching it a few times so it's not so sticky, then apply your embossing ink & embossing powder and heat set or use a piece of post it tape. Either 1 will work but the card stock method is much more sturdy. Hope this helps! Beautiful cards.

Well firstly WOW!!!! These cards are definite showstopper!!!!! Was fun to watch you in the video, I was exactly the shame with the powder, absolutely got everywhere!!! 😂 apart from heating from the back another tip if you were wanting more black than metallic is to coat with black embossing powder first. Something I learnt whilst playing. I just purchased another 3 pots of the stuff, I'm addicted to this one. Want to say a BIG thank you for mentioning me, I'm glad I inspired you and that you love this powder like I do. 😁as for my favourite j would have to say SSS and The Stamp Market.💜💜💜

I usually take my embossing ink and make a sheet or area of embossing powder then die cut from that. It makes it a lot easier and also easier to melt from the back to keep all the mixture even... hope this helps.

The other tip to do when die cutting after embossing is put a piece of clean white copy paper over the embossing so you don't pick up lint from the cutting plate.

I know this video is from 8 mos. ago but I just found it. You asked about a stitched rectangular die and probably have found one by now but Stampin Up has a set of nesting rectangular dies that has many different sizes. I am strictmy a Stampin Up girl as far as the stamps and coordinating products that I use aside from the occasional purchase of something that they don't carry such as some embossing powders and like products.

Store your glue sponge upside down for awhile so all the glue comes back to the top.

I'll try that next time. I really thought it would work because the top was pretty wet with glue, but I'll give it another chance and try that. Thanks for the tip!!

I am not impressed with the glue sponge either. I was hoping it would be ideal for vellum, but it didn’t even hold! Besides SSS Clearly Besotted is my favorite stamp company.
