My first time riding Glen Major trails just south of Durham Forest. Started at 3 Rocks and rode some really good flow and nice gaps on trails such as "downhill thrill."
I just came across your video in Glen Major Forest. Really enjoyed it. I am relatively new to trail riding so prefer a little wider and open trails for now. And not too steep. The trail(s) you were riding looked interesting. Would you mind letting me know the trail(s) you were on. I am going to Glen Major tomorrow, parking in the Balsam parking lot (south east corner).
Hi Bruce, I rode around the 3 rocks entrance and followed the trails right from that area. I don't recall all the trail names, but the majority were more mellow and flowy. Here's a map to the trailforks page on this section. www.trailforks.com/region/glen-major-forest/?activitytype=1&z=16.0&lat=44.00699&lon=-79.08106 hope that helps.
@@ride-paddle-repeat Thanks for the info. I was looking at 3 Rocks earlier on Trailforks. I will give it a try tomorrow. Looks like a good day. I appreciate your reply.
Great video. Just saw it for the first time. I started to ride the Glen Major Forest about once a week last summer and would like to connect up with a couple of other riders to ride with this spring / summer. I see ur video is from a couple of years ago but if u r still interested in riding Glen Major this spring/summer let me know.
