The guitar show circuit for 2024 has officially started! Off to a great start at the Orlando Guitar Show! Picked up some vintage guitars / vintage basses, the rad Fender Bruno Mars Stratocaster, neat little Supro amp, of course did some Gibson Les Paul deals and a bunch of other cool guitar deals. Also celebrated my birthday! Let me know what your favorite find was or if I missed something!
It's always great when the hometown guitar show treats you well. Saw lots of friends and a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by the booth shouting out the channel. Got a lot of things already planned for this year, so be sure to stick with us!

Being the owner of a Peavy Bandit 65 that I bought new in early-mid 80's I can testify that any beginner, or even someone who just wants a dependable LOUD practice amp, you can't go wrong with that. It might not be "vintage" but it also will work forever. Go buy it from this guy!

Very Cool, Thankyou. Great Show. That Hollowbody near the end was interesting. Like an ES135 with the thinner body, but with what looks like the 'Gretsch Master Volume' added as a fifth knob and 'different' switch placement, Very Cool piece. All the Best. Cheers

Look forward to seeing more of your guitar show videos. Subscribed due to Randy Pepper's (Guitar Attic) recommendation. I'm loving what I see. I miss the guitar shows there. I live in the Philippines and guitar shows are almost non-existent. The best thing is I can get guitars here that are amazing and not available in the US.

The guitar with the 1968 Gibson “335” neck doesn’t seem correct. The 68 335 had single block inlays. I’m wondering if the neck is maybe a 345 neck.

Josh Scott at JHS Pedals is a huge Built fan; plays several. I think they are hand built in the KC area, where he’s at, but could be wrong. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them, though. Cool though.

Heart breaking story. I was nineteen and went to church auction in South bend Indiana found 54 LP gold top all original. The auction hadn't started yet so I left to go to the bank by the time I got back it had sold for 180.00.😢 this was 1989. Today that guitar is for sale for 45.000.00

Gibson uses lots of veneer....Gibson's semi-hollowbodies like the ES-335 and ES-339 have tops and backs constructed of layers (either 3 or 4) of maple veneer. My understanding is that the veneers are assembled in successive cross-grain layers with the top layer having its grain longitudinal to the length of the guitar. The tops and backs are approximately 1/4" in thickness after layup.

the 79 fender neck is probably on a SE body dont matter though then neck is everything. The body looked full size. I would buy it. I put mexican strat necks on SE bodies and it works good. Might need to change the pickups. though.

Reall really enjoy you, your insight, personality, and your guitar show videos. Hope you have a fine year. Do a video on the guitar and amp market swing. For example the expensive stuff and mid expensive stuff. For example marshall drops prices by thousands on tube amps and top cabinets. Gibson and Fender will have to follow. Fender Custom shop prices and Gibson everything is tremendously over priced. The prices are of what vintage stuff you deal in should be. How does all this nonsense effect the used market you are the specialist in. Stuff like that I would like a video request on stuff like that. Not exactly, but I am sure you know what I am going at, as a guitar girl that wants superb vintage for a reasonable price, not a crazy overinflated one.

I’m sure you guys remember I purchased that MIJ blue flower Jazzmaster. Crafted in 2017 in Japan. To go with a pink one😮 they are both mint. The Paisley one I got locally in Tucson, it belonged to a luthier, and was absolutely fantastic. both guitars found me it’s kind of creepy. What do you call a grouping of guitars other than a grouping of guitars? And array of guitars a display of guitars, a cornucopia of guitars, and array, and I already say that… What do you call a grouping of ducks? You don’t know! It’s called “a raft of ducks“ raft of guitars. It’ll never catch on.
