My first band who bring me into the metal life in 90s,maaan nice to know that somebody told u to listen to them \m/Check Hammerfall Hectors Hymn or Dominion song
Hammerfall and Sabaton are the kings of what I call "manly marching metal" . Its music you could march into war to.. or at least basic training. They toured together last year (and many times before that).. and I think they really compliment each other.
Saw Hammerfall with Flotsam And Jetsam here in Louisville in Spring of 2019. While I was really there to see Flotsam, Hammerfall played a great show. I bought more of their merch than Flotsam's.... I was ready to enlist to the cause after the concert... Cheers! Peace!
Saw them live many times. They really belong on stage. The singer even improved his abilities since these songs. They used to have many pyros in the esrly 2000. Then they did no pyros since the last tour, which was a blast. Check out the Live DVD „One Crimson Night“. Would love a reaction to „Heeding the call“ on this DVD. You find it on youtube. Great reaction by the way. Thank you.
Hammerfall is awesome. 'Heeding the Call' and 'Legion' are a couple of my favorites. If you have not checked out Lovebites When Destinies Align, then you need to. You should both react to this together.
These guys are awesome.. found them completely by accident. bought their 2 disc greatest hits cd off of Amazon.. they had to ship it from Sweeden because it was not available in the United States...
Saw them twice here in Baltimore within the past few years and they put on a KILLER show. The crowd was so amp'd up for them that they were already moshing for the local opening band. I was lucky enough to meet the band their first time here and get autographs and a photo. Super nice guys!!
HammerFall is the band that could be credited for bringing back heavy metal to the world in the late 90s after the pitiful grunge era. There were a few other bands that were around thru the 90s, Iced Earth here in the States, and the Gothenburg melodic death metal bands such as Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, and At the Gates. But Sweden's HammerFall and Germany's Primal Fear came about in 1997 and they kinda saved the planet from the dismal Grunge and Gangsta Rap era of the 90s. That second song, Last Man Standing, was off of the Greatest Hits album "Steel Meets Steel" and was the last album to feature that bald guitarist. HammerFall has had several lineup changes over the 23+ years of existence. Their original bassist left after their 6th album I believe. And the bald dude left after this Greatest Hits album which followed the 6th album.
'Hearts On Fire' and 'Renegade' are pretty good songs too. They were among the first songs I heard by Hammerfall, and they still stand up pretty well today
Crimson Thunder and Threshold were the 2 albums that brought me to hammerfall back in the early 2000s. Still love to listen to those from time to time. Good reaction like always :)
I saw Hammerfall open for Sabaton in SLC!! incredible band. I have a couple photos of me with Pontus (guitar) he works the sound board for King Diamond. I have seen KD twice in SLC and Pontus was the sound engineer both times. He is very cool. Took pics with me and my daughter last year
Hammerfall was my first heavy metalband who take me to metal world and until now is my favorite band. And Hammarfall live is metal magic. Even better than original. Saw them 8 times live and it is NOT enough.... x
Ooooh awesome!! your reaction to my favorite band! I been a fan for 18 years now.! I wish i had patreon to request.. But i don't :I My favorite song from them is either Riders Of The Storm (2003 live, You should check that out) and Blood Bound
They're just as good if not better live, and the smaller the stage, the more powerful they are. Amazing atmosphere and performance crowd interaction, and the energy is evenway more positive. Any Means Necessary, for example, in the studio recording he sings it with more "anger" and a vengeful passion (which is the theme of the song), but live I've seen him just sing it with the biggest smile and it's reflected in the tone, yet it still sounds amazing. This might also be a bit of a subtle rebrand, music videos of last couple albums, they just play like they're really enjoying every second
Watched one of your old acdc videos just now and realised that you havent done ”for those about to rock”. Gotta be live of course, I like youre channel btw keep it up! :)
Hammerfall is one of the best life performances I've ever been to. I saw them when they opened for Sabaton in Chicago, and my group of friends and i all agree that Sabaton killed it, but Hammerfall stole the show!
O my god! Why havnt i seen this reaction earlier!! Maaaan if you would react to LEGION or ONE OF A KIND by HammerFall, that almost sounds like another band! And the singer, Joacim Cans, sounds just as great Live! Seen them a couple of times! Looovely video mate, keep it up!
You can clearly see the influence and inspiration of Accept in these two songs with their sound or medieval choirs, which they themselves have said...Accept have been an influence for us.
And then OF COURSE you need to react to the classics Renegade and Hearts On Fire. And after having seen them live, my fav song by them; Riders Of The Storm! :D
Look up the band Imminence They have like 4 videos that are a story look em up Paralyzed Infectious Lighthouse Erased And also the band Orbit Culture they also got a triology Nensha Rebirth The shadowing Rock on 🤘
Hammerfall is Swedish Power Metal band, check out riders on the storm and since you like leadsinger Joakim Cans you should check out hes solo red light heavy as fuck
I first heard this song from an AMV that I watched of "The legend of the legendary heroes". The AMV is actually a brilliant fit. The song and the anime compliment each other excellently, especially if you know some of the lore behind the anime. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vQpojCWWMSY.html
