Yeah getting a flat wedge under the ball is so risky for us normal humans. It's such a small margin of error. 9/10 times I'm gonna smack the ball right in the middle and launch it

It is so great to see Ricky. I had missed him through the year. Then LIV hit and all we heard was trash by the PGA tournament. I quit watching golf altogether. Then Rory became the big mouth and acted like he was king B/S. I can't stand him and was shocked that the PGA gave him the FedEx. Which they did. But back to Ricky he is missed.

This is how I was taught to put backspin and it works flawlessly last time I played I was 15 ft in front of a 60 ft tree and I flopped it straight over the tip of the evergreen tree, over the sand, onto a smaller green. Love backspin and bunker game!

I think water on the face reduces the friction needed to spin the ball George. It’s like trying to get a ball to bite on a wet green, it just skids rather than grips. I think 🤔😂 I hope Rickie finds his mojo again, he’s a great player!!

A putter - in my mind the most important shaft game club. I use it off the green as long as I am still less than 10 m off the green and also in the bunker, unless I face a wall.

Wedges. Get a 60 56-58 52 And just swing the shit out of them. Know every distance every angle every shorter swing flip shots everything. Once you get inside 125 you should be able to knock it tight from anywhere.

if you wanna go all out. you can get 60-52 most of the vary by 2 degrees. Make sure to get a putter that your COMFORTABLE with aswell. me personally, hit so much better with a putter that i like the feel on
