Those spears are giant tuning forks. Do you know what happens when you bang a tuning fork and hold a second one with the same tuning close to it? The second one starts to resonate as well. Su and Moa are banging their forks and they are searching for the second one. They find that when they meet on the center stage. There's also a game of thrones reference there.

Great reaction. As you said, this is a great intro song for the album ... so of course it made for an epic and theatrical opening performance at their first live shows in nearly 2 years when this was filmed at the Makuhari Messe in January this year.🤘🦊🤘

I want very much to hear Metal Kingdom live in person. I often hear it implied that if you don't write the lyrics you can't sing it with passion but, once again, Su blows that theory out of the water.

Excellent reaction, thanks! "Metal Kingdom" is an incredible album and show opener and I like the way it sets the atmosphere for the whole show like at Makuhari on these visuals. This is the way they appeared last January after a long time (they didn't perform live since April 2021). Even the outfits are special for this song. I can easily see here Empress Su-metal and Shōgun Moametal haranguing the hordes of kitsunes before the battle. 😁 Later in April, they added Momometal to the equation. And that felt even better. 🤘🦊
