Part 2 was another good session except when you was filleting the mackerel the you did it put the shivers down my spine I always run the knife away from my hand 👍
Fair enough mate! It looks closer to my hand going at double speed! I’ve got a better filleting clip on this video at about 34 minutes in if you’re interested? Thanks for watching 👍👍🎣🎣 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GCUEpLH_ASs.htmlsi=oUURVg2RbZ0DDeGp
I know it's the you do it. I was always shone the safe way to use a knife was always cut away from your hands my father was a master buchner and knife skills was drummed in to me from a very early age. Besides that your doing a bang on job 👍 👍
Yes it is bud. I find the chunkier pipe lagging is just right feathers. Keeps them out of the way and easy to unwind without tangled when you want to use them. 👍👍🎣🎣
Another good watch. Thanks. If I'm not mistaken that was a Comber Fish - another sign of our waters warming. I caught one last year on mackerel feathers off the south Cornwall coast.
I paused the video when you showed the Comber to make the comment as I recognised it, then when I restarted I realised you had already ID'd it! Power of Social Media @@fishingsalcombe 😅
For me, it’s a bigger question than to just wear or not wear a PFD routinely. I have a full explanation of my thought process here if you’d like to take a look. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TeY6514pKQ0.htmlsi=cM1ABCDvjVTH5xVV
