I was thinking they should revamp the whole spotting/concealment system. Especially in Cold War. The way cold war is now youre auto spotted from half way across the map by almost any tank. Occasionally even behind cover. From the moment you're spotted, you remain spotted for nearly the duration of the game making RBRT the most effective and competitive way to play. Maybe auto spotting for light tanks only. Reduce the range. But also give them the ability to manual spot over long distances. GREATLY reduce spotting range of every other class. Make it so other classes mostly rely on manual spotting except extreme close range battles. Increase the duration of being manually spotted. This would slow down the game to and force a more strategic game and give lights another ability that other tanks dont have that would be extremely valuable to the team. But at the same time, making camo selection a more careful process as they might actually work as camo is intended! People are picking NEON colors for crying out loud because you're spotted the whole game anyways!!! They dont even LOOK at the tank, they just RBRT the NEON sign thats been over your head the whole game! Maybe introduce a hardcore mode with these changes with extra rewards and remve RBRT altogether as I think not everyone would be on board with changes like this.
There is a reason why the overwhelming majority of the community rejected True Vision when it was tested in the few months prior to Update 6.0. We said it was a terrible idea (and it was), and yet the Devs forced it on us anyways with Cold War. I've played this game for 9+ years now and haven't played a SINGLE match in Cold War. I hated the idea of it then, and I still hate it now. Cold War mains will argue otherwise, but it's becoming harder and harder to deny that all Cold War has done since being introduced is make the game (and gameplay) so, so much worse. Its toxic YOLO meta has seeped into WW2 over the last 4 years and has all but completely ruined tiers 8-10.
@@jacobsekela8691I've played since the Xbox 360 days and I don't agree with you. The people playing cold war would have left the game entirely if it wasn't a mode. Because I did. I came back to try it and think it's better than ww2. And tier 8-10 has always been trash for almost 10 years now. It ain't because of cold war players.
I said the same thing awhile ago on here. CW needs a hardcore mode or reduce the spotting mechanics drastically. It's one of the reasons I play high concealment tanks with a full camo build in CW. So you don't get auto spotted then RBRT'd to death.
@@jacobsekela8691 Tanks have always appealed to me. The best missions of any FPS involved operating a Tank IMO. So when I heard about WoT, I had to try it. Although I wasn't an avid PC gamer, it was only available on PC at the time so I tried it and dabbled with it. When it released on console, I was there day one. That's when I really discovered the odd choices for some of the mechanics of the game. Invisible enemies unless spotted??? Never seen that before in any game. Even stealth based games. Didn't think I'd see that in a tank Sim. And frankly, that turned most of my friends off. Locking onto enemies with RBRT? Certainly makes it easier but really made it feel a LOT less of any kind of sim. But whatever, it was tanks and all that was available and I had a good time playing for a lot of years until it got really dry for me. Took about 2 years for me to come back when I heard you could finally grind an Abrams. Logged in and didn't even realize it was a whole new mode. Abrams was rumored to be Tier XI when I quit. But when I saw True Vision was a thing, I thought it was fantastic. Starting to add some realism. And I have to disagree with you. True Vision is a non issue. 95% of the time TV never has a chance to take effect because you're spotted already. People YOLO because the entire team is spotted and targetable with RBRT. Because of this you could play blindfolded and do fairly decent. And honesty It seems some people actually DO! LOL! There's only a FEW portions of a couple maps where TV can come into play and even then most noobs don't even use it. The second you're unspotted and they break lock, they stop firing at you. The problem with CW is the tanks are waaay too fast for the small maps, so players never want to slow down and take their time aiming and RBRT on perma spotted teams enables that gameplay. I know, I take full advantage. But I think it would be quite an interesting game if we reduced spotting to a minimum but giving light tanks the clear advantage in spotting like in my above comment putting them back into a scout role instead of a nieusance or assassin tank. which would at the same token, reduce locks. Or even remove locks altogether for a hardcore mode. No more death circling or yoloing in locked on. Actual strategic game play.
I agree!! Either a cool down period AND OR eliminating auto aim function on these one clip tank destroying auto loaders. ERA II has become ridiculous since the German line release and mostly non-enjoyable.
Absolutely agree that the Bradley needs a little love. It is pretty hard to make it work now and when you need to really on your cannon for any enemy that isn't an inch for death you are screwed. Overall the changes to the missiles has been great IMHO. Some more tweaks here and there should help a bit. And overall a lot of the tanks with missiles and autocannons are quite fun to play now. Speeding up the acceleration has made the missiles much more useful at longer ranges and the game meta seems to be changing in a very positive way.
My 2 cents worth...auto cannons need a cool down period... there is no way you could fire a auto cannon by just holding down the trigger without cooking the barrel force the auto guns to fire short bursts as a hand loader I have a lot of experience with different firearms....gun barrels burn out when they get overheated...
absolutely agree but I still believe the bagel and the ignis need a penetration nerf as I don't think it's fair for these guns to be able to penetrate the frontal armour of an MBT without even aiming, instead players should use the additional mobility on these vehicles to take on the sides and the rear of vehicles instead of being able to dish out 2-3x the damage output of an MBT from the front without being affected by armour
I dont have the Bradley so I cant really speak for it but I believe the BMP-3 really needs a buff. I think they should bump the pen up to 170-200 (around that range) and make the gun fire as quickly as the 477A's/BMP-2's autocannon (Why are they different anyway??). The gun is pure pain. Like the video shows, it takes forever to pump out any meaningful damage, and thats if all your shots pen, which they most likely wont. With the ATGM nerfs, getting damage during close quarters combat is so rough nowadays.
@@burakDB12 What? The speed? Try to run from a Begleitpanzer, MarderA1, or even mediums that can go as fast. The only good thing is it's camo, but with true vision and since you have to move you don't have the camo of lights.
@@Morpheus02000 Not to be a smart ass but I guess the only option for that bugger is sell it or make sure you are farther than 100m. I don't know why I haven't sold mine yet. I never use it after getting a mark.
The raketpanzer needs to have a much lower reload and get rid of the intra clip reload let it be unique and let it do a double tap with atgm's. Don't change anything else. Let it try that out and see how it does.
Agree with Bradley buff. You never closed inside 65 meters in any of those examples so the dpm of the IFV is essentially higher. Also noticed you hit some nice shots with the buffed missile speed. I like the minimum arming distance and the speed buff for missiles.
There are no need for buff of machine guns on those as the rockets has been done better afther that speed buff. That arming distance is just a joke as they now can keep invisible from distance as the missiles travel faster.
Riki, i understand what you are going through. Comparing war thunder and world of tanks gun mechanics. Wot is atrociously trash and infuriating. Wot's gun and pen mechanics need to be tightened up by 95%. It's so bad it isn't even a balancing feature in my opinion.
Agree to this 10000% i have asked myself why the bmp-2 had a better auto cannon than the bmp-3 i mean an era 2 is better than a era 3 wargaming tripping from the start
Tambien entiendo que este tipo de ligeros en cortas distancias al no poder usar atgm es logico mejorar los cañones automaticos para que de cerca puedan hacer algo... un saludo
just last night i watched an old stream of yours "2 mark maybe". We were platooned and playing era 3. That had me using my fvm vickers. Machine guns was my bane playing that tank. I can dodge bullets and atgms easily but impossible to dodge a line of bullets.
I never enjoyed playing the Bradley because of how slow it is and the autocannon. Watching video of the two Bradleys vs. The T90 in Ukraine made me dislike WoT:MA version even more.
@Rikitikitave mate that think is brilliant 👏 The auto cannon works pen is good 👍 The atgm luncher is a dream 14-degree angle, and the cannon has degree. It's the only light tank that really works in era3.. You should get your hands on one.! I am on my way to the 3t gunnmark. Loving it 😍 The atgm nerf was needed, but not really thought all the way through. The jac is helpless without the second gun . That was only a complete wiesel nerf that it all..
This channel has turned into a complain cry about a game that if you feel is so bad then stop playing?? No one cares how bad you hate something. Change your content dude!!
