Used to play the bmp-2 as a scout and ambush tank. When they nerfed the heck out of spotting because of the armadillo, I don't play it much anymore. I can't shoot atgms on the run like you, so when i do play it, I just pick on light tanks with the autocannon.
He Riki, Thanks for taking the time for making this clip 😊 For me personally, the only thing that's balancing the bmp2 is the economy stats you have made in your first game, 111k plus, and in the Bmp2 34k minus 😊 Both tanks are 👍 the Bmp2 is more like a piranha and the marder more like a great white 🦈 😂😂
Excellent comparison of the two. I’ve almost 3 marked the BMP-2 and I’m about 25 games into the Marder 1A1 and I would say exactly the same thing. Both tanks are great, have a unique play style due to their weapon systems, and perform better in different situations.
Thanks for this Riki!! I enjoy the BMP2/3, but because they aren't great with maneuverability, I tend to play them only occasionally. I'm still on the grind for the Marder and hope to get more bob and weave out of it. It's hammered me a few times and I want to see what its like sooner than later. :)
There is a negative point, which I think many players have discovered, is that the machine gun contains 75 rounds, just like the Amax, but PNB 2 contains 200 rounds, and I hope that the game developers adjust this thing. 😢I hope, my friend, that you reach our voice 😢
I'd lean to the marder due to the autocannon being overall more flexible due to vastly better accuracy and not needing to load premium. As for the marders ATGM depression, it is wonky, but it is also the same 5 as the BMP so to me it's not as much of a downside. The BMP line to be needs to be looked at a bit with some of these new tanks coming in. The BMP-3 being uhhh yea I cant find a excuse for why its 30mm is still meh now adays. Regardless, the Marder line is the one I'd would reccomend due to it having unique tanks though out the whole line.
Hi rikki, just moved to era2 yesterday in cw and got my hands on leopard 1, and my first game im paired with bmp1,2, marder1a, ignis . I get killed 9/10 matches.Like is that algorithm correct?
But the BMP1 is so bad I've given up on the line completely. In fact, it's put me off ATGM tanks so much I'll probably not grind the new German line either.
To me the BMP1 is still one of the best stealthy tanks you can get. With camouflage equipment and camouflage trained crew, 5% more horsepower and fog thrower, it makes hell of fun. 😉👍
I am sorry but from my experience playing a lot of era 2 and the marders and beglitpanzers dominate simple as. BOTH bmp's are outclassed in every way by the German lights. I also have to question why you are comparing a tier 3 to a tier 2 era 2 vehicle. Don't get me wrong I like your videos but in this case, you are simply wrong. The new meta is the German lights in era 2, they dominate the top listings in games. Spotting damage isn't really a thing now either as swarms of German lights rush you, let off missiles and move on to the next victim. I would even say era 2 has been severely impacted by the introduction of the German lights in a huge way. How you can say the bmp 2 is equal to the marder let alone the beglitpanzer is a mystery to me. How often do you see bmps in the top 3? Simple answer is very rarely. You've even said yourself that that the beglitpanzer is broken and op so this video comparison is null and void. What is your response?
