At first I was a little surprised by this monotonous character. (I haven’t watched many of your videos yet) He’s such a strong contrast to the shy neighbor. But then I listened a bit more closely and realized this character is just textbook pragmatic/logic based. (as he is self aware of) It was amusing to see him struggling with brand new romantic feelings and looking online only to find that the answers weren’t quite lining up with things he had dealt with before. Kinda off topic, but this character is a lot like the other main character in the book I’m writing. (And the love interest, go figure) I already knew a lot about them, but learned more after listening to this! Pragmatic silly billy doesn’t know what a crush is. Adorable.

wow, i clicked into my subscription box at the perfect time lol, i just want to say thank you for continuing to make audios because yours are the best i've listened to so far by a wide margin. lately i've finally begun to mentally process some unfortunate events that happened a few years ago that i've just pushed down inside me until now, and in addition to that i've been trying to figure out who i am (both in terms of what i really want to do with my life, as well as finally accepting my sexuality after years of feeling like i had to deny it). it's led to a rough couple of months and even though I know it's ultimately for the better that i figure these things out now, there have been times where i was on the verge of a full blown panic because i was questioning every decision i was making and whether i was doing the 'right' thing. when i found your channel i knew i struck gold because there's just something about your voice that helps me clear my head, yours is the most relaxing voice i think i've ever heard. on nights when i can't fall asleep because everything is racing through my head at 100mph i listen to one of your audios and i feel like everything is going to be ok, and that's something i haven't really felt from any other creators save for one or two. i feel like everything is just flowing out at this point, but to keep it (kinda) short i guess i just wanted to say thank you for continuing to make audios, they've helped me tremendously in the couple of weeks since i found your channel. i hope you continue to make this awesome content because you deserve every single sub and view you get, and honestly the fact that you don't have way more subs is criminal. Wonderful 💖 the character was adorable and I loved how they were written-so much detail that made them come to life! Your voice acting was so sweet and wholesome and emotional to the perfect level. I am really glad the tone wasn’t played as overtly monotone, because that doesn’t always translate well over only sound. I think voice acting needs almost overacting to convey the same emotional range we get with visual cues. Anyway, I’m rambling. This was great exactly as is 😙 thx for sharing it!

Sometimes I really hate my neuroatypical brain. Every time I notice odd patterns or behaviors in someone I tend to self-diagnose them for myself to better understand how to approach interacting with them and listening to the behaviors and mannerisms of this character my brain went, either he has high functioning autism, OCD, or a combination of those. (Note: I myself have high functioning autism and know someone diagnosed with OCD so I am not assuming based on limited knowledge or understanding of either this is just what I thought of based on my personal experience as well as some stuff I've learned throughout my life. One of my many interests is in different mental disorders/disabilities/differences and how they affect a person's behaviors and mannerisms especially given that I live with several of these mental anomalies including, but not exclusively autism, ADHD, and both dyslexia and dyscalculia. Also, I appreciate anything that either directly or indirectly addresses mental disorders and their presentation in a person's behaviors, or even stuff like this that brings more attention to the fact that our brains don't all work the same so thanks!)
