Bengal was called the Bengal Subah during british colonisation so it was very much related to Bangladesh and West Bengal in India. Also, William was just a change of king, it wasn't like an invasion but a battle in the succession crisis since William the Bastard was promised the throne but he wasn't given it so he took over forefully. But it's pointless, we all know the british are savages so we needed to protect ourselves better. The British built minimal infastructure to benefit a small minority of british living in India not for the population. And they did this after destroying various industries in India. If you looked at policies at the British East India did and later the English Crown, it prevented India from getting richer, the British empire restricted trade, farming and manfaturing in India so much that it could never catch up creating a never seen gap in wealth between Europe and India. The Romans integrated the Celtics who enjoyed Roman infastructure and most importantly intergated them to the Roman empire, since it was the Empire's policy to integrate new terriorities to install a sense of national pride. The british saw India was a treasure where they can get unlimited funds from and didn't care on integration. They just destroyed all the existing industries and structured India's economy so that wealth flowed out of India into Great Britiain. Would a Indian at that time be able to become the prime minister in England? There were various Roman emperors from Syria, Tunisia,Spain,France etc. However the british isles were considered a different entitiy to the british raj and also the rest of the empire. It wasn't an even an empire. It was like a corporation where the stocks of the British government increased the more land they owned

Because it's poor and impoverished due to over population but no one is seeking 'asylum' and running away that's hyper bole. It's also built around swampy land so it has a lot of climate problems. And hence there is climate migration. That's why they are migrating. They are not seeking asylum. It's mostly eco migrants like Punjabis who go to canada they also can't do what you said. Bangladeshis live far away they can only come via air. And do you seriously expect them to go to France and get a french visa. And more over who the hell who has to flee because he doesn't have enough money to get a residence permit, have a sufficient amount of money to go to France by taking a flight and get a french visa. Nothing that you said adds up. The only way this "could" happen is overstaying tourist visas but this doesn't usually result in asylum claims this usually leads to deportation and Bengalis cannot legally claim asylum anyway.

Those people are going legally and those who goes to UK are 100% good people because good peoples doesn't want to stay in Bangladesh....and remember one thing they're going to UK after processing many steps not in any easy way
