I love him as much now as ever and my heart will never be fully whole ever again. He changed all our lives and who we now are. Bereavement is such a surreal experience. Dreamlike and too overwhelming to ever properly explain or understand. Time does not heal, time just allows a numbness to scab over the wound. Even the slightest amount of picking at the surface causes whole floods of pain to flow out and in that moment the pain is just as raw as it was at first, and your emotions are right back there experiencing it all over again. I feel your pain and loss and enduring love. It's important to speak of them "in the now" as well as back in the day, because they are still relevant to our emotions and feelings. They may not be here, but we are, along with our memories! Our treasured memories that will help us with our burden of loss. Lots of love to you xxxxx ❤

Marianne Wade ps: I don't know who Kathy Gifford is, but what I got from her mistake... Is that it almost soothed him rather than broke him. As I said above, they are still with us, and I find it so supportive when people still talk about my son Oliver. Some people avoid mentioning him for fear of upsetting me, but not acknowledging his existence is more hurtful to me. It seems like she made the mistake genuinely, and his response would indicate that he didn't want to embarrass her, and that it made a change for someone to ask him about her as if she is still here.. as opposed to asking him how it was now without her. Because clearly she is still there in his heart. Like we have ours in our hearts. Does that make sense? For anyone who may also be reading this, if you have someone who is grieving, don't make the mistake of NOT talking about who they lost. It's deeply important that the person is spoken about often, your friend needs to know you care about their attachment for the deceased, because that attachment very much lives on! 😊😊😊

Tami yes, you are so right. Thank you for reminding me that one must lead with love and show compassion. That usually is my go-to, I guess when viewing this it just struck a nerve. Hers was a genuine mistake and he did handle it with aplomb and genuine kindness. It IS good to speak of our lost beloveds. I love talking about Aric and do, frequently, in my Facebook wall. Just this morning I was listening to one of his favorite songs (Flobtos' song Handlebars). Aric and Oliver will always love us, always be around and inside us. Aric used to visit my dreams. Hasn't much this past year or so. I think it takes a lot of energy to cross over into my realm, into my dreamscape, but he knew how I longed for him and needed him. How raw the pain for so very long. Now I just dream of him. Often. How about Oliver and your dreams?

I’m talking about careers like a nurse, personal assistant, writer, etc. I’ve lived nearly 40 years on this earth and have held many different types of jobs and live in an area with a lot of ethnic people (I’m mixed races myself) and have yet to meet someone with a wild name who not only had a good work ethic but was over all good at their job and professional.
