Domain-Join Windows server while launch
Launch Linux Instance
Install the Packages
#yum -y install sssd realmd krb5-workstation samba-common-tools oddjob oddjob-mkhomedir samba-common
Update the /etc/hosts file so that dns name or hostname of AD server gets resolved correctly.
10.0.0.0 adserver.easycloud.int adserver
Join the server to domain
realm join --user=admin easycloud.int
Check the user with ID
id admin@easycloud.int
Enable password authentication
#vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Restart sshd service
#Service sshd restart
Restart sssd service
#Service sssd restart
Login with the AD user
Add the AD group to sudoers file
%AWSAdministrators@easycloud.int ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
%AWS\ Delegated\ Administrators@easycloud.int ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
