Hi Madam, Your tutorial was good. But I have one doubt, why you use under public subnet file system ip address for specify destination location in datasyn agent task? Then why you create file system also in private subnet?

Hel Namrata, I try to copy data from S3 Bucket in region A to Fsx in region B, I configured Datasync in region A, but I need a perring to complete, if I create the agent in region B (the same region of Fsx) I get the error: get a bucket in the same region where DataSync is deployed. Is not possible to copy data from a Region to another region without VPC peering?

You can use DataSync to transfer files between two Amazon FSx for Windows File Server file systems, including file systems in different AWS Regions and file systems owned by different AWS accounts. docs.aws.amazon.com/fsx/latest/WindowsGuide/migrate-files-to-fsx-datasync.html

Hi New to AWS and I need to design a solution for the following requirement. Hosting my application (not webapp) on multiple EC2 AWS. Customer sends files on SFTP all day long. Need to consume the file and process. Send back the response on the same SFTP. Now SFTP creates S3 buckets behind the scene. So I thought I can create S3FS and share that file with EC2. However I got pushback on AWS forums for S3 FS for poor reliability. Then I stumbled upon this video about moving files from S3 to EFS and may be I can mount EFS to EC2. Do you think this is the best solution for my requirement? Is there a way to mount EFS directly on Amazon SFTP instead of using DataSync?
