This was a royal funeral. Going in style. This person was truly loved. I had chills come over me and what got me crying was the choir singing at the end where the baritones voices raised loudly to where the person who died could hear. My God that person surely felt that love. Thank you for sharing. This was so beautiful. ✌❤
what a beautiful loving tribute to this person... I have never seen anything like it before! Just think how much more awesome it will be when Jesus welcomes us home!!! Talk about a celebration !!!
This Is Beautiful! You know WE ALL are going to have this Day and they can ROCK ME, HIGH AND LOW!! Because IT'S MY LAST TIME HERE ON EARTH!! When I do go home to meet my Heavenly Father, I want A CELEBRATION!!! I want God, TO say WELL DONE MY FAITHFUL SERVANT!!! I LOVE IT!!
We as a whole have things backwards because some of us were taught this way. We are to weep when a child is born and celebrate life when one transitions over, this wasn't a show it is a way to celebrate the life lived by this individual. God bless their soul they no longer have to deal with trials of living...cant wait for my time although I'm not in a hurry but I would want my family to celebrate the life I've lived. No mourning here...
Glory ,Awesome never ever seen anything like this before in my life. Those steps , that was off the chain. The anointing was so strong while watching make break out in praise. AWESOME!!! #1 first class
This was beautiful!!! It reminded me of the funeral of the late great Jazz Artist Mr. Wayman Tisdale (June 9,1964-May 15, 2009), from the moment they removed his body from the gorgeous black shiny glass carriage pulled by two beautiful black horses that led the procession to the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK where 4,000 mourners (including his band ) were waiting, his body was led into the building and down the isle to the front by one pallbearer with his hands lifted high carrying one of Mr. Tisdale's basketballs. After the service was over the pallbearers returned in a beautiful and demonstrative way to carry the beautiful 925 pound casket on their shoulders (while swaying to a nice melody) back to the beautiful black shiny glass carriage with the two beautiful black horses waiting to carry his body and lead the procession to his final resting place inside Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
Tramaine Moore He wants that hurting heart that dry inner man he wants to water it and that persons name written in the scroll called the lambs book of life. Saved an filled, praise Judah's lion and our Savior. His love never dies thy anchor holds though ship is battered!
I think my Uncle Lynn Conner Jr & his lead guards did a wonderful job like always & for those that think its wrong fyi its not also they weren't dancing they were rocking as if he/she were sleeping smh ppl these days always have to say something negative. Keep up the good work Uncle Lynn love u
This was beautiful, I thought they were rocking the casket to the choirs' singing as a last dance per se before going Home for as they say we suppose to celebrate. Thank you for identifying that.
Only New Orleans could be that smooth. Homecoming should be a joyous occasion. You made it.... You're going to see the King. I'm a Musician, send me out with a Jam Session. I'm finally made it to that Heavenly Choir Johnny Taylor sang about. I don't need all that boohooing. I want this to be my outgoing.
I hate when people comment there opinions on somebody's funeral you could have kept that to yourself, if the family didn't approve it wouldn't of been done. You don't have nothing nice or encouraging to say don't comment period, this is someone's loved one have respect.
justine tate if they had any respect, it wouldn't be on RU-vid to begin with. Seeing that it's displayed on social media, people can comment and say what they want. Now get somewhere and shut your damn trap
Justine Tate....I agree.....Its whatever the family has approved and the family did not ask for the publics approval...Iam sorry for the passing of your loved one...(May God Bless You)...written by :Valerie White
I have been to a many of funerals but this one tops them all. This was done so beautifully. Whoever the person was that passed away really had a great sendoff.
I DON'T KNOW THE FAMILY BUT THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL. THEY SWARMED OVER THE BODY AND PUT IT UP IN THE AIR GIVING THE PERDON THEIR WINGS. AWESOME...BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES 🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇
A very nice way to honor a loved one. But I told my boys cremate me. I don't want a funeral. I don't even need an Urn(probably misspelled) Just put me in the cardboard box. And the only people allowed to see me are my 3 sons and my grandbabies. But this was beautiful.
I think this is Awesome... Think of it like this the guys the Angels coming to take you from your final time here . And as they lift your casket up and deliver you into your Eternal Rest from your labor and your works follow. Well done it is finished . This was Beautiful...
Ended up hear after watching " Please don't do this at my funeral". Just HAD to see. Am from N.O.'s & never saw this part of the funeral. They must practice this their entire life.
What should it matter if they were Dancing or Rocking! It's a "Homegoing Celebration", a celebration of his/her Finished Race on this earth and Going Home to be with Our Lord! I want Everybody to Shout Dance Sing and Praise when I'm gone because it means God saw that my task has been completed and it's time for me to Come Home! God Bless U & Ur's; Keep Ur Head up because Heaven is where we should be bound for! Mrs. Penny
They certainly did perform in every kind of way. The choir alone was enough, and beautiful. The swaying casket, and slowly stepping men, was a bit much. Otherwise, heart touching beautiful.
