My dad passed several months ago ... This video allowed buried tears that I did not know I had. I was alone so free to allow my emotions to bring forth. What a wonderful home going . I pray the family is comforted by the memories left behind. Thank you for posting this.
What a beautiful service the Bible says cry when they come into the world and rejoice them leaving I say celebrate the life of your loved one and praying for the family I lost my father and its a hard situation Togo through I celebrated my father and this was a beautiful service.
At the end of the, it is the familys' choice as to how their loved one is honored. Beautiful send off, and prayers go out to this family for their continued stregnth.
Idk if all the neg feedback is from ppl that have never lost a loved 1, a parent, a father in particular, but when u love & respect someone a great deal u want 2 send them off in a loving, respectful, meaningful way. To have raised high & rocked/danced home does that. This "honor guard" did just that. It's in their name, folks. They're HONORING the departed w/ their "show". Which, in my humble opinion isn't what I'd call a "SHOW".
Wendell Koger I wish we had professionals for my grandma because one of my brother was drunk and his clothes were way too big. The other family pallbearers were acting like my grandma weighed 1000 lbs when she actually weighed about 125. They were struggling and it was scary. I would pay extra for their services. I loved it.
If you just watch this video briefly, the first impression from someone in Europe could be: Ok, cool show. Then again I personally think, what a wonderful way to give the deceased a great home going and put the focus on that person. I wished we had such way for the final way in Germany too. Thank you for sharing this. My prayers and condolences to family and friends of the person who passed. God bless and regards from Munich in Germany.
They did a great job. I guess that's what the family wanted. God keep your arms around them in their time of lost. And yes I know the video is from a few years ago
I found it interesting that out of all these people criticizing the Pallbearers in these comments, I didnt see not one person say "Im praying for this family in their time of loss." Some of yall just hopped on here and started banging your keyboards complaining and criticizing. Have some respect for the family.
What a wonderful, „rocking“ and still touchful way to go the last way while celebrating someone’s life. I wished we had that here too. Thank you for sharing and god bless. I hope it helped the family and friends in this sad time.
For everyone talking about they put a show on and it was in poor taste, that was beautiful and a great send off. Find something else to do then sit around and talk bad about someone home going. You should hope someone does the same for u when you pass.
I loved this tribute, believed the father wanted a good send off. Others may think it was of not taste, but I sure loved it. We don't live in the dark age of years ago. It's time to spread the greatness and morn no more.
Just beautiful.every one have their say to there family when they pass on what they want done at their funeral This just was touching i think iam going to tell my family to let me go out the same way.i just want to say god bless the family god has her or him.rip.
@@walterwinslow1489 Forgive me. I've never seen a service like this until the few I watched on RU-vid. I think it's absolutely amazing! What a way to honor a loved one! Nothing but respect! :)
I thought it was beautiful. I like that black people still have such reverence for our dead that we want to do something special in our goodbyes as the final rights are literally the last thing you get to do for a loved one. It is a ritual display of love for the lost and comfort to the family.
Let not your heart be troubled for in my fathers house are many mansion if it where not so I would have told you so I go to prepare a place for you and when I come again I will render you unto myself.
REALLY,REALLY I DIDNT HEAR THAT; NOR WAS THEIR A WARNING TO THE OLD DEAD BEAT CHURCH PEOPLE IN THAT SERVICE; YOU NEED DISCERMENT; CARNAL CHREISTIAN DONT GO TO HEAVEN; LIKE REAL BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS NEVER GO TO HELL; THE CHURCH THEIR IS A JOKE JUST LIKE THE ELDERS-DECONS AND PASTOR ALL ON THEIR WAY TO HELL;PLAYING MICKY MOUSE CHURCH. HALF OF THIS FAMILY IS UNSAVED; AND KNOW WARNING;JUST A CHECK FOR THE PLAYER.
Ellis Hernandez Let God decide what is and isn't appropriate and YOU go back to school...GOD'S PEOPLE WILL PERISH FOR LACK OF WISDOM....Exercise WISDOM!!
as are the N.Y. Rockettes , but , sure don't need them playing around my casket , AT MY HOMEGOING.... WEIRD AZZ FREEMASON BULLSHIT. !!!! SOME PPL TELLS US , JUUUUUST WHO THEY ARE
I think the pall bearers were masons . And this was a part of their program . I have seen masons do things like this before at many funerals. They do all different kinds of stuff.
ITS NOT OK; TO PLACE SPEACIL NAMES LIKE THEIR GOING TO GET IN HEAVEN;ON PART OF THIS SHOW; THE REAL SHOW IS IN HEAVEN NOT ON EARTH; NO SALVATION, NO HEAVEN. WHEN WILL THE PASTORS SAY HERE LIKES BR AND SIS SO AN SO THAT WHERE SOLD OUT FOR CHRIST OR AT LEAST SAY SELL OUT FOR CHRIST; LETS ;GIVE SOMETHING FOR THE LOST VISITORS THA HAVENT BEEN IN CHURCH FOR 20 YRS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER; ONLY REAL PASTORS DO THIS.
Damerrick Williams - Where was the "SHOW"? Compared to some Ive seen, this was quite respectful and dignified. And dont forget: THE FAMILY REQUESTED IT... So theres no more for anyone to say. They dont need to see these criticizing comments in their season of grief.
@@ellishernandez4544, no matter how a family want to make funeral service special for their love ones. There's always going to be that "ONE" person to have something negative to say. It will always be that one person criticizing what, why and how come your doing this or why you're doing that..... Their are no two people alike, what l like you may not like and vice versia. ...I honestly feel if you're going to be negative just don't leave a comment .
he says get to your cars rapidly right through that song accompanying their goodbyes now that is some efficient undertakes though it does not really come across as so stylish!
They probably didn't do nothing for them when they was alive ..is just the way it is..won't to impress some body ....u do for me when I'm alive not when I'm dead....hell I'm dead I can't see u ..keep ur flowers & ur horse & buggy...my opinion!!!!! R.i.p.. .
The House of Johnson Funeral Homes of Detroit and Jackson, Michigan... Gerald Johnson Jr CEO/OWNER and Dominique Johnson DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & THE ELITE GUARD PALLBEARERS
No...it's about putting on a show and the funeral home upcharging the bereaved for providing the "Grand Elite Honor Guard Hippity Dippity Super-duper Extra Select" pallbearers, one of whom is wearing a Bluetooth. WTF?
Its a little over the top for my taste, I would probably feel very uncomfortable if I was in attendance. However, thats just me, it was extremely well done, these guys are definately on top of their game.
Natural burial is very inexpensive and so good for the earth. No embalming which is a barbaric practice. There's a video by Luth Luther that shows the actual entire process on a real dead person. Nothing hidden. It's horrific. #orderofthegooddeath
@guardians animal rescue- you are ABSOLUTELY right about the entire embalming process! A relative was a Funeral Director (mortician), I never want that done to my body. I will state this is an incredible send off. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. The paulbearers did an INCREDIBLE job. I commend them.
Terry Everitt I own 2 crematories and I am with the national funeral association the state requires a proper burial if your wife was to feed you to a shark she would be charged no matter what if you don't want to be embalmed or cremated you have to be buried within 48 hours but for a cremation for $500 that probably does not include taxes and THE URN and to be cremated
THE COMIC THING IS TRAVLEING TO ALL MICKY MOUSE CHURCHES; GOD SHOWED ME THIS LONG AGO AND I WROTE TO WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THESE STUPID PASTOR FOLLOWING THE DECIPTION.
I have been to a black funeral a very dear US friend of mind he asked for it in his will no organ but a jazz band the service last a hour better than the UK ones Were I live
