this is seriously the video that really motivated me to get a crawler and i havent looked back since , still enjoy watching your skills bender..the gap at 2.03 is still the highlight.. and my ax10 is still going strong ... keep up the great work..thanks.
The only weight added to the front was the 6 cell 2/3A pack, 3 cells on each side of the servo. We also used a lipo battery, for part of the test session, on the top of the front links.
Thanks for the compliments on the video and the SW3 chassis. The video was filmed at a park in Thorton, not sure of the name. Check out RCCrawler for the Colorado comps/get togethers. There's a bunch of us here that compete.
The first song is "I Fought Piranhas" the 2nd song is "Stop Breaking Down" by the White Stripes. I was wrong when I said the first song was St. James Infirmary Blues earlier.
wow! what a stock crawler.prolly the first time anyone can say that.great job to jason on the build thread on rccrawler , awsome job on the vid bender and whats the name of the first song if you dont mind me asking?
Holy Sheeet @ 4m 10secs Is that a high speed high/tourque digital servo?? I'm an Rc drifter, looking at rock crawling for something different to do when i'm not drifting.
On the same batteries it will LONG out last your stampede. I get a little over an hour on my 6 Cell 3300 mah sub-c battery. I also use a radioshck 9.6v aa cell 1600mah battery that gives me about 30 mins. but it does not have as much torque as with the sub-c cells.
What's the battery life on those things? i'm thinking of getting one, i'm pretty new to RCing ... i have a Traxxas Stampede but its no good for Crawling..
