Hey everyone! Here is a quick video with an update on the Axanthic project with a few examples to show you on what we have been able to do with the Axanthic gene so far.

Hey, you might not have known but reptiles (or 15 species) were leaglized in Norway recently, (Everything was banned since the 17s, they legalized 15 species on the 15th of august this year) So now I can finally get a crestie as its one of the species they allowed :D

This is such a fun genetics project to follow! The color change sounds similar to the grey gene in horses, only completely reversed; for them it's a dominant trait and they can be born in many colors, but turn white as they age. I'm excited that you've proved the pinstripe is a separate gene, and that you can have an axanthic pinstripe! I was hoping to see that! I can't wait to see what you produce this year!

my crested gecko wont eat anything but apple sauce. wont touch live or dead crickets. wont touch wax or meal worms what do i do

+Tony Hamlin it will if you stop feeding it apple sauce. Replace the apple sauce with a high quality CGD. It may not eat it right away, but it will eat eventually.

I tried all the insects first then it was recommended to me to try the applesauce I went a full week with each insect except for the wax worms those were about 3 days it was recommended to me to try the applesauce just to get him to eat something he is a rescue from a high school science room we're mostly teenagers cared for it amongst other animals
