Regarding the magic six... I've generally heard it applied to the 60s blackface amps, which had knobs that go from 1 to 10. But Fractal knobs go from 0 to 10. So the corresponding magic six numbers for Fractal are gain=5.56, bass=1.11, mid=2.22, treb=5.56.

Leon Todd: Axe Fx content machine! I really like the Love Pedal in front of a Tweed for the fine grained control over the bass rolloff, works great with rhythm pickups. One way these models are not accurate is the total lack of hiss. The originals hissed like a punctured bicycle tire when cranked and Cliff seems to have edited all that out. Axe Fx is a dream come true for us old guys who used to love these old amps and wanted to own them all.

I do love how quiet this thing can be. I think Joe Bonamassa owns all the good old Tweed's now so I'll happily settle for the III.

Hey Leon great video... Where can I find that York audio IR you used... U said it was fairly new cab pak... And it was based off of a 60's deluxe and uses the oxford speaker... A 4119 mic and Shure ksm 313 blend... I would like to get that... Thanks man your videos have really helped me get in depth with my Axe III...

Keep up the good work. When you are creating or demonstrating a tone do you always have the guitars vol and tone control at the same level? It would be useful if you were to include the levels of the guitars controls.
