We do not know his nationality (obviously not German otherwise the media would have mentioned it immediately) nor do we know his race for sure but it has been made public that he is a schizophrenic. In that case it’s never called a terror attack. Sorry to destroy your baseless accusation.
They waited way to long to shoot that guy. He would have been shot earlier in the incident if this happened in the USA. German police gave this guy to many possible chances to kill someone. European police in general are trained to be as soft as possible.

@@twinnie2k they had police at every angle to his front and side. If they can’t shoot him without a backstop then they shouldn’t be armed. They just hesitated for far too long and put others in danger.
@@twinnie2k or use "unmittelbarer Zwang" which happened here. They had to first talk, then pepper spray, then give a warning shot. If all of those measures fail to eliminate a potential threat only then they can shoot a target and ideally in such a way that it is non lethal.

For a little bit of background information for foreigners. In Mannheim (southern Germany) about 2 weeks ago a policeman was stabbed by an immigrant and later died of his wounds. That’s why the police is now (luckily) more careful/cautious of such incidents and reacts faster.
That's actually not even close to true. The problem in Mannheim was, that the situation (including the knife itself) was completely invisible to the police. If they would have known about the knife they would have handled or different. Including the officer who died.

In UK the police, especially the Met, would have checked with the local Mosque before taking action to ensure he wasn't a member of the religion of peace.
