Hi all!
Celebrating the return of Axel Foley! I always wanted a reason to give this another go. Thanks to my parents, I was introduced to Eddie Murphy super early on. I watched Delirious and Raw so many times I can't even count. After that, tackling his filmography (at the time) was glorious. Beverly Hills Cop 1, 2, and 3, Coming to America, Boomerang, Trading Places, The Golden Child, you all know. I don't even care if the new BHC is good or not. Getting to see Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley along with the rest of the OG cast again is worth it. And just to answer the favorite question, it's impossible to answer. I'm normally a chuckler, but there's those certain movies that make me laugh out loud. All 3 (hopefully 4) make me audible equally. Hope ya dig!

When Nick Nolte didnt show up to host, Eddie Murphy stood in his place to promote 48 hours (1982). He wasn't wrong to say "Live from New York, it's the Eddie Murphy Show!" In the early 80s, SNL was pretty much the Eddie Murphy Show. Murphy only really hosted one other time in 1984 to promote Beverly Hills Cop and then finally came back many years later.

I love the fact you included the third movie. It was always my favorite one. Then maybe the action parts of 2. But I liked many things about it. I actually always liked the cast in 3. From the new guy they added to the villains. I also always liked how the theme sounded in 3. Where it was more... Electronic Synth? It was more fitting with the movie anyway. Okey-Dokey.
