I REALLY wanted to, and it makes me sad to not be there but I very likely won't make it. My sister is having her first baby soon and her due date is less than a week after the meetup. She could go into labor when I'm in Boston and not only would I miss it but my Dad would too if that happens because he has health problems that prevent him from driving (my sister lives 6 hours away from me). There's a very small chance that I could make it if the baby comes early and I can grab a last minute hotel/flight/badge. Just really unfortunate timing. If Pax was a few weeks earlier or later I could've gone.
Hey Axel! Great content as always. Was wondering if you could ask the Devs why they discriminate on certain accounts? For more than 2 weeks I've had serious connectivity issues and the game crashes on me after 15 minutes. This ALWAYS happens, and there is zero technical explanation for this other than explicit sabotage by the devs on my specific account. I have confirmed this affects my account soecifically because I have had the game crash on me, so I immediately log in on my Daughter's account, and her's has zero problems. I can't stay logged in for 5 minutes, but she can stay in game indefinitely with zero problems, and without fail, if I log out of her account and immediately log into mine, I crash within 5 minutes. I would love it if you could ask them why they discriminate, and if they know it's illegal, criminal, and likely a class action status? I've been a VIP for a decade and what they're purposefully doing to my account is criminal discrimination, fraud, and false advertising, all federal offenses because it corsses state lines. So could you please ask them this?
Hey Mark appreciate the question! In the Isle of Dread xpac, the craftable Dino weapons, and more specifically the horn slot on those Dino weapons are notable and desirable. Affirmation (brighthorn) gives 1,000 temp hp for 1 minute on hit Ash (Flamehorn) reduces enemy mrr by 21 Ooze (Shadowhorn) reduces enemy mrr and prr by 10 Dust (Melthorn) reduces enemy prr by 35 Vulnerability (Sparkhorn) applies vulnerability debuff, which stacks to 20 and makes the monster take 1% more damage per stack Since monsters in DDO have little to no mrr and prr, Reductions to monster mrr/prr put them into the negative and thus have tremendous impact. Myself and my party on hardcore (and on live this is a priority in hard content like Reapers and Raids) try to benefit from as many of these effects as possible in order to maximize our party's damage output. There are other stacking sources of debuffing we also take use of, such as : Taint the aura (Warlock Soul Eater Tier 2), applies a 10mrr and prr reduction Shattered Device filigree 4set, applies another 10mrr and 10prr reduction. This isn't a all encompassing list of all the debuffing sources in the game but does cover a majority of them. Most stack and some don't. But utilizing as many as possible can potentially double your damage. I hope this helps ^__^

It may have been the Redux season of the 3 lives, but it also was the one with 2 months, being a shorter season. They did awesomely and they even carried me a bunch during my search for the 20 points for the Lantern Archon.
This was an interesting and valuable conversation thanks Axel 🤍 it confirms some of what I already knew and it’s great to hear I’m not the only one spending some money during HC. I will remember recalling and resetting when a quest is lagging badly ;) I agree they unceremoniously dropped HC without a plan for the potential next season…and HC should be held at a set date each year that doesn’t interfere with any major travel/family holidays (like, for example, Christmas and New Years). Pick a quiet time of year when people could plan to be available to run. It’s weird how SSG doesn’t seem to understand people work and have lives. Make it like any in-game festival that happens at the same time annually.
