There should be an award for this video, and this is should be the standard perspective to film all the rides. It provides a perfect vantage point to measure wave height accurately
I repeat...Nazare is not just a place to surf. It’s a place to die and live to tell about it. And yes, the new drone approach to filming takes us non surfers right to it in 3D. I’m in awe of those to do this for real and a planet that gives us such possibilities to jump right in.

Ainda há malta que duvida do tamanho das ondas da Nazaré.... Está bem está.... "Àh e tal as fotos/filmagens são de um ponto distante e alto e dão uma ideia muito maior do que realmente é..." ok..... Li pela resposta a um user que tens a filmagem de drone da onda que o Sebastian fez e que está no XXL Ride of the year. Por acaso nesse video dá para ver o drone. Inicialmente até pensava que era uma gaivota.... :) Mas logo percebi que era um drone. Pensei "esta filmagem deve estar em algum lado". Não sou surfista nem percebo nada da técnica do surf. Mas adoro (de há muitos anos) ver estas ondas gigantes. Isto tudo para te dizer o quê..... Que não vejo a hora de descarregares esse video no RU-vid :) Vocês (tu?) e o Pedro Miranda são top no que respeita às ondas da Nazaré. Top! Abraço!
eu acho que as ondas em sagres ainda sao maiores mas nao sao surfaveis como na nazaré devido a que nao há praia vao diretamente contra as rochas ve bem este video e compara o tamanho das pessoas nas rochas com a altura das ondas

Nazare is totally mushy, and tho I commend the bravery, the cajones...well, tow in surfing gets boring...and the fact you have to be rescued?!...don't you feel bored after the adrenaline rush?...go surf some waves...
