I agree! Although the Redcat Ascent 18 is a formidable challenger.

I would appreciate the higher speed from those axles. But the worm gears give you excellent drag brake. So portals would have me wanting a brushless motor.

I recommend them all. But it's too pricey to get one of each. I think build one up really good. Then play around with some different bodies.

The Jeep, C10, and Deadbolt all share the same wheelbase. The Deadbolt has a slightly shorter rear chassis rail. So, the Jeep and C10 body swap should work. It's always confusing for me because of the different rail lengths. Same story, different brand. I wanted the 1/24 Element Ecto, but it was out of production. I ended up buying the Enduro24 Sendero, plus a replacement Ecto body. That was a deep rabbit hole because the body didn't come with the bumpers and mounts necessary to mount it. I think I'm close to finishing it. I should check back in on that one. It will make for a great video. Thank you a lot for reminding me about that!
