This is awesome to see. I love the board game, but getting everyone together at someone's house is time a hassle. Can't wait to play. Is there a release date yet?

I saw in your q&a that during battle you cant choose your casualties, that the cheapest units will be killed first. In my opinion this is a very important part of the game as some strategies may call for a bomber to die rather than a fighter on defence, or choose a fighter to die over a tank or solder on offense to capture a territory. Is there a reason for this?

From the positions in the image of the leaders I'm surprised they didn't just knock England out of the picture entirely. I mean, they only fought against Germany, Japan and Italy alone for years while America lived the good life, the Russians had yet to be attacked and the French (what a surprise!) surrendered.

I hope this can be played turn based (online) over many days, or even weeks. Nobody wants to sit at their computer for 8 hours for one game. And if someone drops out you have to make sure AI picks up where they left off. Even with so much automated, I've been known to take over an hour to take one turn.

I am really looking forward to this, I have heard that you are looking at the 1942 version. I hope you might one day look at either the Anniversary or Global versions of Axis & Allies as they are my favourites, along with 1914.

Yessss!!! I’m so happy I can finally have an Axis and Allies where I don’t have to set up the board. I hope there’ll be a global 1940 version to go along with the 1942 version

@@FlazzMD siamo 4 gatti, e mica per scherzo😅 Non so se lo conosci, ma c'é anche il forum italiano di axis and allies.. se scrivi su google "axis and allies italia" ti salta fuori fra i primi risultati. Che io sappia é l'unica pagina italiana di questo gioco, purtroppo siamo davvero in pochi a giocarci e a conoscerlo.

@@giants94aa purtroppo i giochi a produzione americana sono poco diffusi qui. Io ho la 1941 e la 1942 che ho quasi finito di dipingere (i pezzi). P.s.: e pensa quanto è difficile per me che ho 31 anni. Per la serie "non supereremo mai questa fase" (film: " febbre a 90")

Your sub rule is dumb. Defending subs must be able to submerge. Also bidding to chose which side you play would be nice.

No, it's a WW2 Grand Strategy Board Game with numerous variants, apparently just 1942 2ed for now. If they add Global 1940 they got me for one for each payer of my group.

Well this isn't a real time global strategy game like HOI4. It's a turn based strategy game based on the Board Game's. It's actually pretty fun, it's obviously not like HOI4 but atleast give it a chance.

@@ryanshearer5569 The thing about Global 36-45 is that it isn't an official title among the other Axis and Allies. It was created by Hardcore Fans, there is an actual RU-vid Channel that talks all about the game. It's basically Global 40, on steroids.

Churchills obviously. but it dont give a fuck. i enjoy roleplaying all factions and even make other funny ones like Fascist Australia making alliance with Japan to dominate pacific while ignoring europe. or Communist Canada taking over US. democratic china is fun. Hearts of Iron is glorious game
