Axis Invasion ft. Major Konig - Sniper Elite 5 

I recommend you use armor piercing ammo, to go for those wall bangs once you’ve got em marked. Soft point rounds on the pistol and smg are good as well but you only get 25 rounds of those for the smg so less than a mag. Besides that it’s good fun, you gotta feel bad for all the Karl’s getting slaughtered though, lol.

I’d be against sniper glint normally, but it’s the only way to stand a chance against the ghillie suit snipers that run rampant in multiplayer.

Kind of silly that the scopes become flashlights... maybe there should be a hardcore mode where you can't see the "glint" of the scope. Cause it shines even indoors.

it's funny because i got the same idea and i never seen the video before, i use the first german sniper + the cap, that pretty close to this face in the movie. I'm happy to see you and other guys recreate the myth of the legendary german sniper of staligrad in SE5 and continue to scary karls with him ;)

Enemy at the gates is one of my favorite movies.

I made a Major Konig character too haha. I like your setup, but I personally used the German Field Officer as it gives him an iron cross and binoculars that make the sniper look a lot more experienced. I didn't think to use the MP40 though!

kinda wish the phones and "your position has been revealed|" wasnt a thing unless you are sitting waiting for like a min without moving but even then snipers sit hours,days,weeks without moving for that 1 shot 1 kill

Like the vid but I think it’s far easier to be an Allie vs the invader. You have focus which gives u wall hacks, tells you the direction of the hunter at any distance to always know where he’s coming from, and it doesn’t run out. U can also use the phone right off the bat immediately getting the axis sniper location. When the invading sniper uses the phone their location is revealed. The only advantage the invading sniper had is the other NPC’s but if the allied sniper takes them all out and it’s just a 1v1 u have a huge disadvantage.

I just did a mission where I went to the Wolf Mountain map and allowed for Axis Invasion. I played that map for well over 20 minutes with the Jäger Sniper. I ended up killing him with the tea house long shot. I knew he was there because I kept seeing his glint near the right side of the house. I felt like he had the advantage if I peeked over to shoot him. So what I did was shoot the soldier that stays near the stairs. The other player peeked out the window. I made myself hide behind branches of a big tree so he couldn’t see me but we both could still shoot each other. I shot him but it only wounded him and then he went back to the same place and I was able to finally kill him, then I just exited the level

You are right about the game being addictive. I miss shotguns... very much.. I also miss earning my 'gold plated' weapon skins. Very disappointed no more golden gunnery.

I will admit, the fact you said that guy was sniped despite the very clear sound of a silenced pistol...that was a bit painful. Using your ears is really good for identifying what's going on, you can tell what's a pistol, smg or sniper if you just listen.

I'm only against sniper glint when it is practically pitch black and you are in grass. Seriously I try to hide so much and always get spotted because of the glint and even when I change my spot so many times I die anyway

Is there a hardcore mode in this? Can you turn off things like phone location aid ?

Great video! I was thinking of Konig all the time when playing this mode. Anyways, I was wondering how you can slow walk, when I press W the character automatically jogs. To share my thoughts on this mode, I think that there's to little content to bring you back, it's mad fun, and I've gotten ~160 kills, however after 100 there's nothing new, there's no levels, no emblems, calling cards, ribbons or anything. And a very annoying thing is how long it takes to find games sometimes (I understand it's based on how many people are playing), and it often puts you in a game and kicks you off after just a couple of seconds

I've stopped playing invasion because every match I've played I've won within a couple of minutes

It’s not a fair or equal mode. I have 20 kills already, steers playing the game about a week or two ago. Haven’t even finished the campaign yet. Anyway I’ve got around a 70 % or 80 % success rate (when I actually get to kill the guy and he doesn’t die from Computer infantry killing him or finishes the mission before I even know where I am on the map), even though I have made a lot of mistakes.

No phones please…that’s cheating 😉
