To anyone discovering her so late for whatever reason: Katie participated in K-Pop Star 4 and signed with YG after winning. She trained for multiple years before debuting. At that time when this was released, YG was going under some sort of management changes - subsidiaries like the BLACKLABEL (by Kush) and HIGHGRND (by Tablo) were founded. I think she was first put into the BLACKLABEL before being finally put under AXIS. AXIS‘s CEO was YG‘s creative director and so YG helped promote her first song „Remember“ before AXIS took over promotions completely (AXIS was still „under construction“ when this was released). FYI: BLACKLABEL is no longer under Kush but I think Teddy while HIGHGRND ended when Epik High left. Also, if you know Colde, he was under HIGHGRND as their only other artist under the name „offonoff“ before rebranding.
